Maui Jim Sport Sunglasses - Makaha - Tortoise with Maui Rose Lens - R405-10

I had a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses recommended to me by an optician in the USA after having surgery on my eyes. I still have them and they are as good as ever after 8 years. I've had other name brand specs in the past and there's no doubt that Maui Jim specs are the best I've had. So, I bought this second pair for use in the car. They're light and strong and fit very well over the nose bridge and ears. I hardly notice that I'm wearing them. They don't need the constant pushing up the nose bridge like many other glasses out there. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a premium pair of sunglasses that look great, wear well and most importantly, give comfort to the eyes in strong sunlight.

Superb pair of sunglasses. I lost one of these just a couple of weeks ago and got exactly the same ones again. They're absolutely perfect fit, comfort and vision.

3rd pair I’ve owned- others suffered mishaps not due to quality eg chewed by puppy! Brilliant sunglasses, cut glare better than any others. Great for driving!

I bought these to replace a pair that I'd had for a few years and had managed to break the frame. They are very light weight, they fit your head very well and the lens provide a very comfortable filter.I haven't used them in the very brightest sunlight that you might find skiing or on water, but in general day to day and walking use in the UK, these are great.Excellent after-sales service from Maui Jim if you should break a lens, though this latest version is much sturdier than the earlier ones.

These Maui Jim sunglasses are the best!!! I had lost the ones I had and I didn't even think twice when I saw them advertised. They fit perfectly. They are soooo comfortable to wear. Just love them.

Great glasses. A second pair with a lovely tint. Recommend highly.

Can not fault the quality of these glasses, however, they were bought to replace a pair that were lost, the originals were fine, bought in Honolulu, but these seem a larger size. They will need altering.

Very good sunglasses

Own several pairs of Maui Jim sun glasses. These are like others light on face and give excellent protection.

Bereits meine 3te derartige Brille. Leider verliere ich sie immer... Ich schätze das ultraleichte Gewicht (trage sonst keine Brille), den perfekten Sitz und den Effekt der Polarisierung: wir sind viel in den Bergen oder auf dem Wasser oder Motorrad unterwegs. Jederzeit perfekte Sicht und toller Kontrast. Wolkenbildung sieht einfach oftmals spektakulär aus. Die manchmal genannte Kritik bei Nutzung von TFT-Bildschirmen kann ich nicht teilen: beim Auto-Navi keinerlei negativer Effekt, nur beim Geldautomat (aber wie oft braucht man den). I love these sunglasses. This my third pair.

This is my second pair of Maui Jim's. My first, the Kanaha, lasted 6 years and finally needed to be replaced. The frames are light and durable. The bend in every direction possible and always spring back to their original position. The lenses are the best you can get. True, natural colors pop when you wear them. (ie The sky still looks blue) Glare is completely eliminated which is a true pleasure for those who drive a lot, spend time on the water, or are outdoors a lot. The Makaha is a sporty pair that has a perfect amount of sophistication. These are my go to sunglasses whether I am on the beach or driving clients around.Maui Jim's customer service is great. In my opinion, they are on par with Nordstrom or Zappos. If you ever need a repair they will turn around your sunglasses in a few days for only $10 for covered repairs.
