These have made a big difference in the sound my monitors provide from the shelves they sit on. Even on their little rubber feet the speakers would send vibration through the shelves and there would be little rattles or even some resonance for particularly low frequencies. these slightly bigger isolating feet do a very good job of reducing and almost eliminating that. There is a little risk with the sharp points of scratching the shelf surface, but a small bit of rubber shelf liner takes care of that without being visible.The feet also have the benefit of looking good on the speakers, and since mine have some shiny brass trim these feet fit right in.Overall very good purchase and a big benefit for my stereo.
