It lights up when I walk into the bathroom, which is very convenient at 3 a.m. I am sure it would be cooler to have it in the toilet but I'm not willing to clean it so... I have it hooked over the bathroom light instead.

I first saw this and was like great idea but no way am I putting inside the toilet. Then the light blub went off in my head and I figured out it DOESN'T HAVE TO GO INSIDE THE TOILET!! I have it hanging on the towel bar in our water closet (shower and toilet room). As it advertised it is not very bright so in the middle of the night it is wonderful not to have to turn on the bright light. It has done its job and I really like it. You should add that part in the advertisement. I also use it in the daytime so too. Once on its not a crazy long time before it goes out which is great hoping this will mean longer battery life.

I freakin LOVE this night light. I got it as a gag gift/stocking stuffer for my husband and he wasn't as amused. *sigh* I still "installed" it (I say installed but really you just put batteries in the back end and then place it underneath the seat) and haven't turned on a light while having to use the bathroom at night since! On top of that, I like to take showers in the dark with the door closed (pitch black) when I get migraines but if I just stick my arm out of the shower when I need to be able to see a bit, I can find my shampoo or whatever and get a cool little light show. The only negative thing I could say about this is that it doesn't stay hooked on too well and it sucks when you have a husband that's constantly lifting the seat. I'd still recommend it!

Very disappointed. The box was damaged and not even sealed in any way. Could barely get the AAA batteries to fit and had to force the compartment shut. Then it stayed on constantly in the dark or light. Very poorly made and doesn't fit a standard toilet very well at all. The only thing that was cool was the light colors and that it wasn't bright in the dark, but rather had a nice glow for "middle of the night" use.

I purchased this on Amazon Prime day because it was inexpensive and an interesting idea. It was easy to install and worked fine. I thought it was OK but my wife didn't like it coming on when she went into the bathroom at night. My granddaughter thought it was the coolest thing when she saw it! The only downside was, it broke in half after a couple weeks of use. The little flexible arm broke off at the main body where the battery goes.

Have had two of these. Product works ok, until the unit gets corroded (after about 6-8 months) (regular alkaline aaa batteries seem to last about 3-4 months till they are used up.Major problem with this product is that the environment of a toilet means that they will be exposed to very corrosive drip or air features, and WILL corrode.In someone else's review they suggested sealing sides of unit (between the case, and at the light side) with some clear or white silicon rubber ,. will try that next time.Other then corrosion, product works great.last unit gave way after about 14 months, and 4 battery changes.otherwise, motion, brightness, and giftability all are 5*. If you give as a gift, warn them it will only last 6-8 months...

I bought these little lights for my master bath and two guest bathrooms. I love the LED lights, they are bright enough that you definitely don’t need to turn a light on in the middle of the night. The motion sensor also works really well. I am happy overall with this product but I can’t give it 5 stars because I’m having a problem with them staying on my toilet bowl rims. The arm that you bend over the rim that holds the light in place is too flexible, after about a day I’ve noticed that it tends to straighten itself back out and then the light falls off if you lift the lid of the toilet. It’s too bad that the manufacturer didn’t use a stiffer wire to hold the light in place.I am planning on keeping the lights, like I said, I do like them overall, you just may want to keep this little issue in mind before you place your order.

At first it was intimidating that me toiled look like it was a night club but it become more convenient and my parents who are in their late 70s loved it. I bought some for christmas to give to them and they end up buying everyone they know one haha convenient for people who cant see well at dark / grandmas etc. I love it

We love it. Simple and very affective. Our grandkids love it. We have it on all the time because I if there is light in the bathroom it doesn’t work. Only at the dark. So that’s great. If you want to take it off , it’s as simple as it can get. I now got 2 more as gifts.

had not realized that it had a light detection as well as motion detection. Should have read the instruction more closely. Works great. It can be fitted and adjusted to any rim size.

I love it, weird at first... Stuff in the toilet shouldn't be those colors but its cool.. Simple fun things of life.. Hangs on the side of bowl on the inside. May help kids go potty..
