I brought the duo set for both me and my partner and was skeptical whether it would just be another typical electric toothbrush! I have been using it for over 3 months now and can see a vast improvement in cleanliness and hygiene of my teeth and gums! I love that it's so easy to use, with numerous different settings depending on your needs. The app connects to the brush and shows you where you may be missing. In the box you have a travel case and additional head for each of the brushes which is great! The charger is euro which is the only downside unless you have a bathroom socket you will have to use a adapter. The battery lasts a long time however and it's quick charge turnaround time overall it's great value for money and I recommend it to my friends and family!

Best toothbrush I've even owned! Love everything about thus toothbrush, the different modes aren't gimmicky and all feel like they do what they say and my teeth feel so clean after. My only gripe is the cost of the brush heads and obviously the initial cost of the brush itself but like they say, You get what you pay for and I see this as money well spent.

Decided it was time for an upgrade of our old Oral B electric toothbrushes. There are a few different options in the iO range, but after a bit of research I settled on iO8 as being the sweet spot. The duo pack was at a good price point and meant my wife and I could swap over at the same time. Impressed with the low noise level, battery life and some features of the smart phone app. The ability to see your brushing routine in real time is quite nice - although not something you'd want to do for every brush; gives you an idea of the areas you tend to neglect. Also ties into things like Apple Health, so you have a record of your brushing - if that sort of thing floats your boat! The hygienist at my dentist has commented that I'm doing a good job of keeping on top of plaque and my gums are healthy, so I think the combination of the new brush and app has a bit to do with that.

It is a good toothbrush generally. However, the heads need changing probably monthly to have the proper clean teeth. And what really lost a star is that one of the toothbrushes (I bought a set of 2 on deal few years back) went from 98% to 0% after 1min of brushing after about only half a year of using it! After fully charging it did it again… sent for repair, was ok for a while and now it’s doing it again! But can’t send for refund or repair any more. My husband’s one has never had such problem.

Excellent product, with set programmes that enhance the cleaning experience and a light indicator system that ensures you get cleaning pressures right for your teeth and gums. Wholeheartedly recommend this product!

Great pair of electric toothbrushes. Cheaper to bury as a pair of his and her’s rather than separately. Would certainly recommend them as easy to use with the different programs. And certainly better for your teeth and mouth cleanliness than older cheaper electrics or manual toothbrushes.

Literally life changing - bought these for my wife and me and although both of were pretty good with dental hygiene these toothbrushes take it to the next level. They clean really thoroughly and with the app it enables you to focus on the coverage and pressure. They are crazy expensive unless you get them in a sale - but o really recommend them.

Why did you choose this product over others?: My son wanted it. My last Oral-B ripped my mouth to bits so I was very cautious. Thankfully, they have learnt how to make toothbrushes that do not tear you to pieces now. Unfortunately they have now decided to give it idiotically short battery life and horrible reliability. At first I could just get 8 days from it. 8 month later it tells me I have 25% battery after 5 days, then stops working. Just recharged and it gets better. Now skipping time in 3 second intervals and telling me I used an unguided session after guiding me through. Oral-B have also taken the opportunity to log me out of my account. Thanks. All problem reporting has to be done through the phone app so is an agony. Thanks again. Oral-B also want photos of brush and original receipts and even their extended warranty confirmation. All tactics to stop fixing this junk. I gave them all this and have heard nothing since. Utter rubbish again from Oral-B. Looks like I'm buying another Sonicare to replace a Braun - again.
