This thing is dangerous IMO
I’m a licensed GC. I am NOT a licensed electrician but I have friends that are. And they agree with my assessment.Look at the photo attached of the switch (with no plate installed). It literally says in English “do not install with electricity”. Not sure what else one would use but ok.I wired it up like a standard single pole switch and it did work. But it only worked as a momentary switch. Meaning you press the button, the operation takes place, then the switch returns to the off position automatically. Not good for my use, but it has some uses. The directions are a joke. They don’t make sense at all. It says “no neutral required” but the diagram shows the neutral being connected. DO NOT DO THIS. The %*$&ing thing caught literal fire when I did.I now know I should not have done that. But this thing is not worth the hassle, not even for the low low price of $12

Easy to install
It took me few minutes to install, if you know what you're doing then you shouldn't have any issues. I wish the LEDs were a bit brighter though. Will buy more.

Very tricky to install
Instruction booklet? Only readable with an electron microscope as text is so tiny.No illustrations of how to remove glass cover from switch body without breaking it. You figure it out..No illustrations of how to reattach glass cover to switch once it is mounted in recessed wall box. Tricky!Once installed, there is about 1/8" space between glass cover and wall. You must be very careful not to move your hand over 4 sharp corners when activating.Operation: Flawless, very sensitive with LED's to indicate ON/OFF states. Works well if you haven't injured yourself installing it..
