I’ve always heard that silk pillowcases were better for your hair than cotton. I didn’t think it mattered. I was wrong. After using these pillowcases for a week I have noticed my hair is not as frizzy. The pillowcases are well made with a hidden zipper which keeps them from coming off the pillow. As for the cooling aspect I haven’t noticed any real difference in temperature.

The silk pillowcase is not only soft skin-friendly , but is it also good to have for your hair to reduces frizz/bed head or if you forget to put on your bonnet , or if your bonnet comes off while you are asleep. The silk pillowcases are also very comfortable.

This is not silk. I own many silk products, and this feels synthetic. It builds up static, and after washing, it didn’t wrinkle at all. I’m certain that if you burned a piece of this fabric, it would burn and smell like synthetic material. Perhaps this only applies to the white-collar pillowcases.

I washed these pillowcases together with the silk pillowcase that I own and currently using. I felt the materials are different immediately after wash. The silk one I have been using felt rough and not stretchable when wet. These ones are smooth and stretchable. They cannot be silk.
