I had purchased these hoping to use them as handkerchiefs. The fabric is the rigid type of cotton; not suitable for that purpose at all. They seem fine as a face covering or fashion item.

Bought for my fiance and they are nicer than the other ones he has... They are only stiff till a round thru the wash. Soft material, cool design. Nice fit for his head

Bought these on a whim... Was excited when I received them and noticed they were "Hav-a-hank" brand bandanas as I have some from decades ago and they were great. They have changed. The biggest difference is the hem on the edge. Every bandana in this pack had the stitch on the edge come undone after the first day of having them in my pocket. On top of that, the thread used for this stitching is some sort of polyester or acrylic, as it melts when lit. So, not 100% cotton. Kind of bummed, but not that surprised. They are still better than most bandanas I have found at stores. Just wish they were the same old quality.

Edit: 2 weeks and 4 washes later, they feel very soft and the colors still hold as day one. I would recommend these.Great buy. Yes they are stiff at first, but unlike some of the doorknobs leaving reviews, they do soften up after usage/washes. No, they are not coarse or uncomfortable to wear. Either some of you have paper skin or were expecting cotton to feel like silk. If you're looking for an actual bandana that can be used without falling apart, these are it.

My husband likes to use bandannas when he hikes and works out. Ordered the muted colors - brown, beige, green & blue. He loves them. They are a nice size (21 x 20), have the pattern on both sides (rare these days), and look like they will hold up to rough and tumble wear. They are stiff but after the initial wash they have softened up; I expect that they will soften even more as they are washed and dried in the dryer. Good buy and would highly recommend.
