Loved the old vintage look!
I used it on oak and then added an oil protective layer and it looked wonderful! The stain was easy to use no leakage upon arrival. Dried fully and works like it should.

Gorgeous!
I was hesitant to order because I don’t like working with oil-based stain, but this is the exact color I had in mind. It went on more evenly with a rag than with a brush. After prepping the piece for a new stain, the raw wood had some dark spots and the piece had wood filler throughout. The stain covered and blended it all together smoothly. Turned out gorgeous. Super happy with it!

Drying and finish
We thought that the end result left far too much to be desired. Color wasn't consistant even though the can was mixed according to instructions. That resulted in an uneven result. Even after a second coating again poor result.

This was just what I was looking for! I love the coloration on this type of wood. I was a little scared at first because it went on grey, but after wiping the excess off it left a beautiful stain.

Stain is old and won't dry
I don't know where they stored this or how long they had it, but this stain never dries. It's been like two weeks and still sticky. Never purchase again.

First time with this product
Usually use Minwax brand for my projects but this was the closest match for me. The varnish is very easy to apply and wipe off. This particular stain will look like a blueish gray when applying. I used a few coats to get desired effect along with a pre stain. So far no issues, looks good and matched well to other pieces we had in the room.

Amazing!
Don’t judge my unfinished project photo, but this was Western Oak on a custom pine project piece. I looked everywhere for this color so that I didn’t have to try to make a custom color with two different kinds of stains, and this was perfect! I even used a little bit over the vintage ceiling tiles to help match it better and looked aged (just one done shown here).
