This deep cut blade and housing set is a great addition to my Cricut Maker. You get two deep cut blades and a new housing inside the small plastic box that the blades are packaged in. The housing is identical to my other blades and fit's my maker without issue. Having tried this on some 300gsm card it cut absolutely fine.I would definitely recommend this product to others.

This was ordered as a replacement for my original (Black) deep cut housing and blades.So I can swap out quickly when using my machine.Its silver which shouldn't on its own, matter.However, on closer comparison, this closely matches the (gold)fine cut housing and blades and not the deep cut.I took some photos of it alongside my originals to show the difference.The fine cut blades are thinner and not as long.Deep cut blades are made more robust to handle the thicker materials.In the set you get a small storage container with the two fine cut blades and the fine cut housingMy pics show :The 2 supplied blades with their silicone sleeve protectors.My original (Black) deep cut with blades showing and the new housing with blade showing to show the difference in blade.The original deep cut housing with new silver alongside to show slight difference in shape.The difference between the blades when seen outside the housing.The gold fine cut housing and the new housing alongside to show how similar they are.As a replacement for the fine cut housing and blades, this works perfectly well , I can push an already owned DEEP CUT blade into it and it will work in the machine (remember its not exactly the same length of housing) but it isn't the deep cut set.
