Nice frame for beginners
I've bought two of these and if you're a beginner, you'll probably want to buy two also. I built my first GPS drone with this frame and it's a pretty sturdy frame for a first time drone build. The landing gear are crap and will break very easily so I just don't even bother to put them on. I'll probably be buying another one for another GPS drone build with DJI Naza system.Update 09/01/2019I have since bought a total of 3 of these kits lol I have 2 fully built and flaying GPS drones with this frame. I will list my specs for both so hopefully someone might find it useful.Drone #1 (with camera attached)Flight Controller: Airbot OmniBus F4 ProReceiver: FrSky XM+ESC: Turnigy MultiSar 30A BLHeli_S 4 in 1 ESCMotors: 2 RacerStar 2212 920kv & 2 Turnigy Multistar 2212 920kvGemFan 8045 PropsBeitian BN-880 GPS moduleRunning: iNav Flight2nd Drone:Flight controller: Mateksys F405-STDESC: Racerstar REV35 35A BLheli_S 3-6S 4 In 1 ESCMotors: Racerstar Racing Edition 2212 BR2212 980KVReceiver: FrSky XM+GemFan 8045 PropsBeitian BN-880 GPS moduleHiLetgo HC-06 RS232 4 Pin Wireless Bluetooth Serial RF Transceiver ModuleRunning ArduPilot Firmware and QgroundControl for Android

Good quality, surprising low price, 312g with no legs
Sturdier than I expected. The arms do use a good quality of plastic. I did not use the legs, I may. The legs are as others say very flimsy but this is good, they bend and absorb impact and are cheap to replace. I use the stubby legs that are build on the ends of the armsThe weight with no legs was 312gWhen I hold this frame by two of its arms and try to bend with just enough force that I see a small deflection I notice the bending is all in the arms. The fiberboard looks like it will not be very strong but it is. Even with all the cutout holes. This is an old workhorse drone frame, not intended to be a racer.

Do not buy for the landing skids
The frame arms and the boards are of good quality and durability. I thought the landing skids would be a nice touch to my build. The drone found the weak spot in the skid on the first rough landing. They are nice in concept but not designed very well and poorly implemented. But you will be happy with the other parts. Like others have said, get another for spare parts.

VERY DURABLE; Landing gear extension could be more sturdy
I bought this frame to build a drone from scratch. On of my ESC's burned out and the drone fell from a height of about 30-40 feet. Only one arm of the drone frame snapped! Saved my parts and everything else on the frame! Well worth your money.

Good but not aligned well
The frame is nice a sturdy but I had to bend the pcb boards into place because the holes did not like up otherwise I would be given if a 5 star review.

Great frame for beginner drone
Easy to put together. Good quality. So far has survived a few hard crashes of the drone outdoors.

Works great and well designed for a quad.
Works great and well designed for a quad. Held up after several crashes on concrete. Ditch the landing gear though, they will break right off but they are not needed.

Critical Component in DIY QuadCopter Build
I am in the process of building a quadcopter from scratch, including the flight controller. I purchased this airframe based on reviews from other users. It appears that it will be quite suitable for my project & the fact that it includes a power distribution board as part of the structure of the quadcopter itself should save weight. As soon as I receive some standoffs, I will begin the assembly.
