Cheap hidden fuses but replaceable u get what you pay 4
I bought this for cheaper at HF but it's the same. I crossed lines in the dark one night and figured I blew a fuse. Well, I did. The fuses are on the inside and you just remove 8 phillips screws, the top plate, rotate one of the black "working ends" and slide out the whole PCB. The fuses are are three 30 amp blade style fuses; they are a difficult to see through green plastic. These are on very tight, so use needle nose to pull them I recommend replacing all 3 at once w/ higher quality fuses that you can visually verify under low light situations. If you are into electronics or know much about PCBs, you'll notice the cheap Chinese build quality right away with hot snot all over and shoddy build quality on the PCB. Overall, woth the money if you are in a pinch. look for higher quality if you will need more often or mission critical areas. Fuses IMHO should be readily accessible not like this.

No real overload protection
Regular 40 or 50 bucks. Currently on clearance at HF for 29$. Got a few uses out of mine, i either switched the red and black or tried something too much (angle -grinder?) and it must have blown a circuit, doesn't power on anymore. So i guess they lied about the overloads protections everywhere. 90d warranty. worthless. Lost my $, and doubt they'd ever give it back, even if i asked.EDIT: A few days after i posted this, i decided to open it up and look for a fuse. Amazingly, there was no fuse on the outside anywhere. It has 8 screws though, easy enough. So i find 4 25w mini-ATM blade fuses inside, and they looked broken, so i thought great, found the problem most likely, right away, i'll just replace them. Well the idiots who designed this WELDED THEM TO THE PCB/CIRCUIT BOARD. Fortunately i found my soldering station, and after a COUPLE HOURS i was able to remove them and solder new ones on. (bit of a PITA to get to and get a grip on the fuses, and way more a PITA to put the cover back on because of the power-button spring).Needless to say, it feels like the world is ending. Yes, it works again, even though i spent a hundred bucks of my time to fix a 30-60$ item. Despite the satisfaction in sparing the environment/landfill, i can't believe the idiot engineers who decided to solder fuses to the circuit board. Can you imagine if your home-fuse panel fuses or those hundred fifty little automotive fuses in your vehicle were all soldered to their boards? The sheer stupidity of welding fuses to the board, essentially rendering the product worthless to most people who wouldn't know or couldn't take the time to fix it, despite being promised that the product has all sorts of overload/circuit/fuse/voltage protections. What's the point if you just have to throw it away anyways! I'm ready for the atom bomb.

Needed Little Heavier Duty DC cable
Overall this 750 watt Centech power inverter is so easy to hook up to your 12 volt battery. I had ran my 650 watt hand held vacuum clean for couple of minutes, short DC cable has got rather warm. If you run it at around 500 watts or less, you're going to be all right. I had use if from solar to 12 volt farm tractor battery, as I use small cube electric sander, "perfect!" Then I had taken my long break, as my under-powered solar panel to catch up toward fully charged. It's also great for cordless power tool lithium-ion battery quick charger. 20 inch box fan is not too much for this inverter. Only if you want to run 5,000 to 6,000 BTU window A/C, you'll needed the double size power inverter, to be on the safe size.
