The seat is made with what looks to be very tough thick material similar to what is used for camera bags and backpacks. The stitching looks neat and strong, I couldn't detect any areas of weakness in the stitching, in fact the seat seems to be very well made indeed. The straps are made of nylon webbing type material which are soft but seem strong with nylon and metal fixings and adjusters. The upper edge of the seat is padded which should help protect your pet from damage if you have to brake suddenly. The base, front and rear are fairly stiff but appear to be strong. A padded base for comfort would have been nice but placing a cushion within the seat solves that.As you can see by the product description, there are a variety of ways to fit this to your car. What it doesn't show is how I have it fitted to my car. The recommended fiting above shows the straps to be wrapped around the seat headrest, I just wonder about how secure the headrest mounts would be in an accident? In my car I have the pet seat in the middle of the rear seat with the straps around the middle headrest but as an added precaution to take a bit of the strain off the headrest mounts I use my car seat belt too. In the front of the pet seat are 2 straps where I can thread my seatbelt through the seat which once clicked in place holds the pet seat nice and secure.Our small family dog loves sitting in the seat, he has the children sitting either side of him making a fuss of him which he loves. He can also see between the two front seats at whats going on in front of the car. A cushion placed in the seat encourages our pet to relax & lay down. The only concern that I have is that there is just a single strap that is stitched to the seat that holds the dog (or cat) by it's collar. If I had an accident or braked suddenly at speed I wonder if the stitching will hold the weight of the dog? But then again the dogs collar may slip off or break also. The important thing is that it keeps the dog still and in one place which is important to the driver, but I'm not so sure that this will protect my pet if I were involved in a serious accident.I would recommend this as a must have purchase if transporting your pet around, it will keep your pet still in one place allowing the driver to concentrate on driving & not be distracted by what the dog is doing.A great idea and highly recommended for transporting a pet. Be aware that this will only take a small pet, bigger dogs will definitely not fit in this. The other thing to take note of is that in my opinion this is not designed to keep your pet safe in an accident as I'm sure either a strap will break or the headrest will be torn out of the seat in a serious collision, but it will keep your pet still and in one place it should also help protect your pet in situations where you have to apply the brakes urgently - but heavy collisions probably not!If you found my review helpful please click 'Yes' below. Our dog has always been securely belted in to the car, however as a small but long sausage dog, she can't see out of the windows and tends to climb on the kids to have a look out.This isn't always ideal, so we thought about getting a small basket like this to give her her own space.The design is good, it's easy to put together. Cleans off nicely and fits her blanket etc fine.Initially she was scared of getting into it, but through persistence and general persuasion, she is now happy to sit, stand or lay in it and can indeed get a better view of the world!Personally I still prefer to have her attached to the seatbelt holder rather than the rather flimsy clip in the basket, so we've done a bit of modification. But otherwise a good product!

The fabric of the product is of a very good material and there's padding for your pet in case emergency brake and if you need extra comfort you can add a cushion or pillow on the base for your pet.You can expect this to be very flexible as it has tons of ways to attach to the seat, I personally don't think this will completely have your pet safe in case of an accident but I do think this will keep them more safe than the usual way to put your dog in the car, which is with no security at all for most of the people.I think this raises the safety of all the people in the car because it keeps the pet in a place, instead of distracting the driver.The size of the pet also needs to be considered as a large dog won't fit in this and you will need to find a different solution.Very good product overall

The carrier arrives flat packed and is easy to assemble, just inset two plastic tubes into the sewn flaps on either side and then close it up with velcro flaps.The carrier appears to be well made and all seams were well sewn. The straps are adjustable to fit around the back of your car seat and can be quickly altered if you want to carry your pet out of the car. As others have said it needed a pad or blanket in the bottom as it is quite deep.I'm very happy with the carrier, it is light yet robust enough for regular use.

Would not recommend this item as it does not fit well between the front seats. Both seat belts were not easy to put in the clip device. So took it out of my vehicle it lies on a self in my home.hope this helps others that my think it would be a good box for between 2 front seats.

I bought a JR pup and she was terrified of travelling in the car, I got this and it’s perfect for her, it’s easy to move to different seats, it’s waterproof, it’s really sturdy and it makes her feel safe therefore preventing her from being scared. Happy pup, happy owner!

Got this for my daughters cavalier King Charles spaniel as she likes to travel on the front seat, which is not very safe.The unit comes in a zipped bag which is very tight and not too strong, which resulted in the zip breaking on first use (hence the missing star). however the case is still useable and the seat is very well made. It unfolds easily and 2 rods are inserted to stabilise the box. It then hooks over the head restraint (front or rear), adjusts and then allows to thread a seat belt across the front. When the dog is in the box a short lead fixed to the rear can be hooked ono the dogs collar, allowing it to move but not to jump out.The box itself is well made with mesh to the sides allowing ventilation. This dog weighs in at 8Kgs. and is about right but any dog over 10Kgs. may be a bit large for it. Great for small dogs or puppies.PS My daughter uses a small cushion in the bottom to boost her dog and allow her to better see out. Does not stop her barking a cyclists though

Es lo que andaba buscando para llevar a mi perro en el coche sin que se ensucie el asiento. Ya que está acostumbrado a sentarse en el asiento y me lo pone perdido, sobretodo cuando llueve y entra con las patitas mojadas o vamos al campo y se ensucia demasiado.Se ve de calidad y fácil de montar.Además así le pongo su cinturón de seguridad anclado al arnés y lo llevo dentro del asiento sin necesidad de usar el trasportin.Mi perro de 8 kilos cabe perfectamente y va cómodo.

Il prodotto è arrivato nei tempi e in perfette condizioni. Facile da montare e collocabile sia sul sedile anteriore che su quello posteriore. Io lo uso per la mia jack che non è esattamente un fuscello, ma ci sta volentieri dentro ed è comoda. Utilissimo per avere i sedili puliti e liberi dai peli!!!è di materiale lavabile e quindi facile da pulire, anche se io ci ho messo dentro un asciugamano per evitare di doverlo smontare ogni volta. Si può richiudere e occupa pochissimo spazio. Lo consiglio per cani di piccola taglia.

Mein Hund fuhr bei mir im Auto vorher immer in einem Transportkorb mit, da ich keine Haare im Auto haben wollte und das Tier natürlich auch gesichert sein sollte. Er jaulte aber immer wenn er in den Korb musste, da er dort so eingeengt sitzen muss und nicht wirklich was von der Fahrt mitkriegt. Nun habe ich dieses Produkt gefunden und bin sehr begeistert davon. Der Sitz lässt sich schnell aus und einklappen und macht einen soliden und stabilen Eindruck. Gut finde ich ebenfalls die integrierte Leine, sodass mein Hund nicht herausspringen kann und nochmals gesichert ist. Er jault nicht mehr und fährt nun wieder gerne mit mir Auto! Klare Kaufempfehlung für diesen Hundesitz!

La nacelle a été livrée très rapidement dans un grand sac plastique avec fermeture zippée.Le contenu comprend :- la nacelle ( pliée, elle fait environ 40 x 34 x 4 cm )- une laisse,- 2 bâtonnets de renfort en plastique pour rigidifier la structure de la nacelle une fois dépliée.Une fois déplié, l’habitacle de la nacelle fait environ : L 40 x P 36 x H 25 cm, ce qui représente un volume largement suffisant pour un chat ou un petit chien.On rigidifie la structure de la nacelle en enfilant les 2 bâtonnets de renforts latéraux en plastique, et on attache la nacelle au siège arrière de la voiture en passant la sangle du large rabat arrière derrière l’appui-tête du siège automobile.En terme de qualité du produit, l’ensemble est de bonne facture :le tissu polyster de la nacelle est solide, ses rebords sont bien rembourrés pour ne pas blesser l’animal transporté, et ses 2 parois latérales sont ajourées pour donner plus d’aération et de visibilité à notre petit ami à 4 pattes.Un petit compartiment zippé à l’avant de la nacelle vous permet de ranger les petites affaires nécessaires à votre animal pour la durée du voyage.En somme, une nacelle confortable et sûre pour emmener son compagnon à 4 pattes en voiture. Pliée, elle prend peu de place et peut être rangée en permanence dans votre voiture.

El que he comprado por Amazon en la foto es el cuadrado, el otro ya lo tenía de hace muchos años.En relación calidad/precio está bien, en comparación con el que ya tenía no es muy resistente, se tuerce un poco cuando el perro está dentro (sobretodo si es un perro que se mueve mucho). Si quieres desmontarlo para guardarlo en el maletero no se pliega, tienes que desmontarle las varillas de los laterales para poder hacerlo.Me parece una buena idea para viajar, pero sobretodo para que no ensucien los asientos ni los arañen.
