Genuine review, I don't normally but this undercoat rake was so good I thought I should.Tried everything on our long coated St and this certainly worked.

WOW. I’m in shock at how well this worked! I’ve lost half my dog!! He absolutely loved it so it’s definitely a softer touch brush than some of the metal ones on the market. I normally use a slicker brush and that gets out loads of fur but this just annihilated his undercoat which is blowing so much currently. This little £7 brush has saved me £100+ a year on grooming. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

I used to have these for a very hairy long haired german shepherd dog. I needed all the help I could get with that giant fluff ball. I forgot about this tool with my current short haired german shepherd but we were still covered in his short hair. It has been very effective and gets to the undercoat. Combined with grooming gloves, we are finally getting ready to wear black clothes again without being covered in a layer of dog hair. It's easy to use & comfortable on the dog, nothing scratchy, just effective with regular use.

This rake certainly does the job, but is not at all soft and I really do not know what the "soft protection" description on the packing refers to? So as far as removing base coat, yes it works well. But please be really careful not to go too deep!

I use this on my double coated dog. This brush has been brilliant and seen us through a junior moult (when you know you know!!), hormonal moults and spring moult. It really gets through the fur, rakes out the loose fur and is still going strong. All other brushes I've have fallen apart or snapped.

Second time Golden Retriever owner and I really wish I had found this when we had our first - it is awesome! I have previously used a fine needle brush and struggled to get all of the shed hair out, but this is so much more effective. It is comfortable to use and sturdy. Hoping to see a reduction of hair on my carpet and I can already see my Golden's coat looking healthier after just one groom with this brush.

Product somewhat fulfill my requirement.It is good for undercoat of GSD.
