Not all memory foam is the same. With this I could not be happier. I spent 2 weeks researching, reading reviews & separating what I decided were the bs claims, (& they were many) from what believed to be honest descriptions.I needed an extra firm topper to top my hard as a board convertible sofabed. Hard as if you were almost placing this on the floor. Memory foam is difficult to choose. Most are too soft & have no support or rebound, you just sink in.This 4 inch dual layer has wonderful honest extra firm support. I’m 230 lbs & I don’t just sink in. It’s been just a few days but my low back pain is nearly gone. They have a video on this one where a model in closeup actually presses her hand firmly into it & you see the firmness & minimal deflection. The mattress rebounds the moment the pressure is released. That sold me that the claims were true. The quality is extremely high, it’s soft & extremely comfortable to the body but has very good support. The goldilocks of toppers, just right. They have a 3 inch version but I chose the 4 inch because I was topping a very hard cushion that had blown & offered no support.I’m astonished at the value for the money. The cover is well made soft & strong & the straps to attach to your mattress are high quality wide & adjustable.The two layers of the topper work perfectly together. Top layer is soft but not the ‘standard’ cheap memory foam that sinks too deep & doesn’t recover. The bottom layer is firmer but still has great ‘give’.The design is in my opinion, brilliant.The instructions say to let it expand for 48 to 72 hours but mine was usable the first night & by the the 2nd was fully expanded & firm. There was no smell at all. Yay.Be SUPER-CAREFUL cutting the outer plastic. The topper is rolled & very compressed in its box & cutting into the mattress when opening is a danger. Do NOT use a knife. Use scissors. The topper then unrolls & there’s a second plastic which covers the actual mattress, which should also be very carefully cut. Take your time. Because of the extreme compression there’s very little room to work.I couldn’t be happier with the quality & the value.

I bought this for a queen bed we have at our short term rental. The bed is too soft, IMO, so I bought this to hopefully bring some firmness, and it sure does! It's not overly firm, but supportive. I don't like that it runs a little bigger than my mattress, but it's only on the top (or bottom) not the sides where it would be an issue. It is over a regular innerspring mattress. I felt like it was well made. No weird smells or anything. Very pleased.

The topper is comfortable enough and serves the purpose for comfort. The topper is oversized and hangs over the edges of my king sized mattress. This make the sheets not fit properly. I haven't seen if it can be trimmed down, but seems like a lot of work to have to do for the price of the product.

We have a king size Tempur-Pedic mattress that is 8 years old. It has become pretty soft and was getting to the point where our butts would be in a mattress hole and it was starting to disrupt our sleep and cause a lot of low back issues for me and my husband. Since tempurpedic mattresses are so expensive, I decided to try this firm mattress topper instead and see if it works. I'm in love with this mattress topper! It is so comfortable. After the first night of sleeping on it I woke up with no back pain! In a lot of the reviews it does say that it does have a factory smell but I'm here to tell you that it does dissipate. Just spray some fabric freshener on it a couple of times. I can't believe how much better I sleep now! I feel like my body is able to heal through my sleep, like it's supposed to do, rather than getting all out of alignment and waking up in pain. I highly recommend this product if your mattress has gotten a little soft and you feel that you wake up in the morning not well rested or with aches and pains!

I've had multiple back surgeries that started in my late 20's. I'm 55 now and just recently found out I have more severe damage in my spine at L3-5 & all the S's and have been diagnosed with Adhesive Arachnoiditis (2nd most painful disease with bone cancer being the first). I had been sleeping on a 3inch plush egg crate memory foam that I had bought years ago not realizing the problems it was causing me! I recently moved and decided it was time to throw it away and buy a new one (it was 20+yrs old). I thought I'd try a firmer memory foam this time to see if it would help with my back. I've been sleeping on this one for a couple of months now and OMGOSH I'm so glad I bought it. I've actually been walking A LOT better and have noticed my pain isn't as bad when waking in the mornings and my legs don't hurt throughout the night.We all love sleeping on "clouds" but those soft toppers, pillow top mattresses and cloud like memory foams are what's causing so many back problems!This firm topper is perfect for ppl like myself with a really bad screwed up spine/back. It gives the perfect amount of softness and the perfect amount of firmness. I absolutely love mine ... and the good sleep I've gotten! I had bought another 3inch (purple one) that was supposed to be on the firmer side but after lying in bed for 10-15mins I could feel myself start to sink down and the memory foam start to feel softer. Another 10mins and my back would start hurting. I spend more time lying in my bed than most bcuz usually that's the only place I can get comfortable so a good memory foam topper is very very important to me... and my back. This one is definitely my new go to that's for sure! I still can't get over how different my mobility has been since sleeping/lying on this memory foam. I would definitely purchase it again!

Holds its firmness all night with little sinking, mostly the thin top layer of different foam allows some shape moulding for comfort. Dimensions matched my full size matress. No issues with expansion out of the package. Firmed my bed up quite a bit. Has helped with sleep after ripping a muscle and needing a straighter firmer surface.

Due to back pain I am very sensitive to mattresses.There were many different reviews so I was worried.BUT this mattress is really perfect as my other one was too soft.Glad I don’t have to buy a new mattress.

Very surprised how firm it is did not expect just hoping it will keep the standard for a few years

I was looking for a very firm mattress topper as I am a heavier person and tend to sink through other mattress toppers. This topper is perfect for that purpose. The cover is very nice and the 4inch topper was very sturdy and dense. It's very heavy and cumbersome to put on for the first time, but I'm super happy with my purchase. The extra 4 inches of bed height was great too. Hopefully, it lasts and doesn't get too soft over time.

After researching and reading numerous reviews, I’m glad that I purchase this mattress topper.It might cost a bit more than competing brands, and the delivery time takes a bit longer (from warehouse on the east coast of US,) but it’s all worth it.I was stuck with a new mattress I purchased in March 2023 (earlier this year.) The mattress was too soggy and gives me backaches every night… and since the previous vender did nothing about the soggy mattress, I needed to find a fixing solution.I’m happy that this topper became the problem solver. So far sleeping on this topper for a month, and I’ve been sleeping much better. (And thank the seller again for RE-EMPHASIZING the firmness of this mattress topper…)I personally think the firmness is perfect. (Not flimsy thin nor soggy, and also not hard as rock either.)Basically my body no longer sags into the mattress, and finally have good night sleeps…
