Synopsis:Seth and Laura are back in this third instalment of their story. Since this is book three, the first two books have to be read first. Seth and Laura are in deeper trouble than before. But, there’s some good news too. Though it depends good for whom, and will they be able to resolve everything and get their happy ever after?Review:The story starts with a prologue from Seth’s pov, eight years ago. He’s wary of what he hides from Laura but still can’t help his love and lust for her. Then it’s back to the present from Laura’s pov, continuing from Book Two where Seth revealed to her about her father’s murderer. While Laura is in the police station after the events that occurred at the end of the second book, Seth is in a different kind of hell.As much as I dislike the past intervening in the present of the story, because it makes me wait for what happens next, I can’t help but love the way Winters introduces the past. While experiencing an emotion, be it hurt, anger, fear, or love, Seth or Laura just slip into their past and relive a beautiful memory.Laura and Seth are both in danger, the former due to her arrhythmia which develops into a condition more serious than before and the latter for not getting medical help hours after being shot. The first few chapters of the book are so tense. And there are professional killers after them too.This book is dark. It is chilling, what you have to do to survive in their world. I never thought I’d love reading a mafioso romance. There’s violence for sure, but Winters does it in such a subtle way that you don’t realise it sometimes, the kind of story you’re reading. While Seth and Laura’s relationship grows, solidifies, the uncertainty is still there. And this book, the way it ended on a cliffhanger, has me excited for the next on two levels. One, it will be finally revealed – I hope – what exactly is Marcus’ deal. The same Marcus who’s there since the beginning of the Cross Brother’s universe. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book in exchange for honest review.Tempted to Kiss picks up where Desperate to Touch left off and Seth and Laura are trying to work out where they are going in this relationship and Laura decides to be loyal to Seth no matter what. She will do her best to survive in their world. She will take extreme steps to survive. Seth has started to open up on how he feels about Laura and admit and realizing what his feelings for this girl are and what they mean. Seth truly cared for Laura! he shows it in so many ways. Laura is keeping secrets, which may threaten their relationship. I enjoyed seeing more of Declan and learning more about him. Even though Marcus is still a mystery we get to know some bits and pieces of him.The twists and turns I did not see coming at all. I was surprised by the cliff-hanger. It didn’t add up at all. She tells Seth that it’s been 8 year and later an entirely different twist in the end. I will admit that I was shocked about the cliff-hanger and the random and out-of- field direction. I don’t know how this is going to end, looking forward to the final book in the series.

Laura left Seth again after he told her the truth about her fathers death and that he was responsible, but he had to do it to save her. Seth would go through all lengths to save Laura from a danger she is a pawn to. Seth feels he has lost Laura and will do anything to get her back to him. Laura has to do whatever she can to survive with her life whilst in jail. The chemistry is always there physically with Seth and Laura, but is it enough for them both to survive what is happening around them. Emotions run high for these two and I feel only Seth can fix it. If only Laura could confide in Seth more. They are each others light in this darkness around them.

Great story, very suspenseful. I read the book in one sitting. Can’t wait for the next book. Keeps you on the edge and always thinking. The romance is hot. Awesome characters. Excellent read.

I holding on to what I feel I know about the other series I have read from Willow and try to not to imagine how I think this story is going to end. I'm all in. Can't wait for the last book in this series, because I don't want to draw any conclusions in my mind as to how this is going to go. I have hope. In this book Laura and Seth are be let out of jail. Laura she loves Seth despite Seth having told her in the previous story that he had killed her father because he was a rat and it was kill him or else he would have been killed. She said her father was not a rat. Now she is keeping the secret about her heart failure and her need for a transplant from him. Seth and the Cross brothers have found the men who broke into Laura's apartment and were going to kill her. I have to finish a few of the other stories in this circle of men because I think it is essential to my understanding of these men and their families and friends and their relationships with their mate. So I will say I loved and hated the end of this story. I know and have Faith that Willow will bring it all together. Can't wait to read book four of this series, I have already pre-ordered it. His back in my life he wants to punish me for leaving him I see it in his eyes the words he uses but I love him I always have his like a magnetic one night he tells me he killed my dad I'm in shock angry I can't believe him he said he was a snitch that's why he was killed no my dad wasn't a snitch no way I run. Out and in my car I get home trying to understand I hear a noise I think its him I tell him to go away then I here my name but its not him I can't get out so I open my bedroom door slowly there are three men with masks and another on my couch so four but there's a gun to my face the next thing one goes down shots firing I look up its him he came to save me like he always does he shoots the other two I look up I see blood on his shirt and blood mAking a circle your shot I go to him he says its through and through baby girl then we here the sirens he says we have to go but I no he is losing to much blood he opens the window I say you go first I can here the police tell me to open then they start kicking the door he gets out I tell him to go to the hospital I shut the window and the curtains just as the police come in it was self defence but he says you killed a cop I go to the police station they hold me in the room for ages I'm put in a cell then my heart my arrhythmia stops I cant breath they tell me its bad I need a heart transplant then they put a lady in my cell she tells me she is going to kill me just waiting for a letter read on

This book has all the feels of separation and what was missing for so long. To find their way back has to be the happily ever after they are looking for…….I hope..
