Bought this because I ran out of a hair clay that looks exactly like this from the Philippines.If this is a replica, it's very close to the real thing. It holds my hair well, and isn't too hard to wash off when the day's over.

This stuff is insane and has quickly become my primary hair product for two main reasons: even a small amount like this lasts FOREVER because you need so little of it each time and it is PERFECT for teasing your hair into the position you want without it stubbornly clumping together or glossing. Great for giving your hair a nice fluffy look and extra body. Do NOT make the mistake I did as a first time clay user--you do not need any visible amount of it on your fingertips. Just rub your fingers gently over the clay and you'll feel them get slightly sticky and dry--this is what you want. Then run your fingers through your hair and that tiny bit will be enough, you'll feel a very slight resistance to friction build up, though it will keep your hair looking soft and dry. Then you can tease with a comb and fingers and the added lift from the clay will help keep it in place with a firm but yielding hold. Great for feathered styles or short mohawks that don't want to be gelled up.Will keep pretty reliably all day, washes out pretty easily with a little shampoo though after an application like described above, leaves no noticeable residue. I've gone to bed hours after applying it and nothing on my pillows, good to go. If you get too much on your fingers, it can be a pain to wash off of them, go so easy, apply conservatively and you'll find the sweet spot. You really do need SO little of this each day. I picked this up two years ago and I'm not even halfway through the same cup. Great deal. If you're trying to add a little body and shape to your 'do without the shine or stiffness of mousse or gel, this is for you.
