Ducktor Who (Doctor) / Rubber Duck / Light Up Colour Changing LED

We bought this as a replacement for the Locomocean Pride duck only to find it has the same defect.We tried to replace the batteries only to find it impossible. We followed the instructions, removed the screw, inserted coin and twisted. Or tried to. Would not twist. Passed to husband who read instructions and found he couldn’t twist the cover either. Triple checked the pictures, tried wiggling back and forth, husband threatened to get wrench! So we thought maybe the batteries leaked and melted it shut. So we ordered a second different Locomocean (Ducktor Who) to try. Exactly same problem. We’ve now read the instructions numerous times as we thought we must be missing something but nope. Undo screw, insert coin and twist. So unless they’ve all leaked battery goo (both models) these are just badly designed. Really disappointed.

Thought it looked a little more like the Doctor on line than in person. I think my partner will find this amusing. It seems to be good quality but a good bath will tell.

We had a specific request for a glowing duck for Christmas from our grandson. We bought two - one for him and one for his sister. They both work but one is more consistent than the other, so we anticipate trouble ahead if one of them stops working. Fingers crossed.

Bought for my Dad. He absolutely loves it! Problem is, now I want one!!! Arrived early.
