not always easy to install as air bricks dont stay pristine over the years, but look really good after a bit of "fiddling"

I purchased these to prevent wasps from entering through the airbricks into my son's bedroom and the kitchen. I actually purchased brown silicone to bead around the edge after installing. As you can see they fit very well over the specified vent cover size. The frame is sturdy enough, although the mesh isn't fixed in place very strongly as I nearly pushed the mesh out of the cover when picking it up so do be careful when handling. When fixed in place, it's no problem at all.The screw covers are a nice touch which are plastic-welded on the inside of the frame, easy to snap off, a bit like a rawl plug. Supplied screws/rawl plugs were fit for purpose also. The most challenging thing was finding something to mark the holes on the wall. I ended up using a size 3 drill bit and then a size 4 drill bit for the actual holes.A good tip is to offer the rawl plug up to the drill bit then use masking tape around the drill bit to mark its depth and when you drill you know when to stop to achieve the perfect depth every time - providing you don't overshoot and drill past the marker.I would recommend using the silicone after fitting the frame rather than putting it on the frame and offering it to the wall before screwing in.I would say that anyone that knows how to use a drill could install these without any problem. I will update my review should the quality prove to be sub-standard, but so far I'm happy with them and would recommend to others wishing to keep pests and vermin out of their homes.
