UPDATE 5.29.20: I contacted the seller regarding the below issues, and they were prompt about providing a shipping lablel to ship the laptop back for a replacement. They didn't have any of the T440 in stock, so they sent back a T450 in excellent condition (I received the laptop within a couple days, they were pretty quick about sending out the replacement as soon as I dropped off the first laptop at UPS and let them know). I highly recommend this seller. I know it is always sketchy buying used (especially computers) online, but this seller has good customer service.______________________________________________________________________________________________________It has some type of sticker cover over parts of it, which is probably to cover up any scratches. It’s well done and blends in well. The one I got definitely has some Used nicks on it, but nothing major. The battery does have issue though, it does not fully click in on one side (the left side). So it’s slightly loose on that side and can shift. It doesn’t seem to shift enough for it to turn off the laptop, but it definitely doesn’t feel secure. Also, The battery does not last that long, maybe 4 hrs with just a couple tabs open on chrome (on just google search pages, no video or anything). That was after charging it over night. My battery was also missing the rubber feet. Keyboard was very clean, looked pretty new. I will continue to test the machine.The imaging job on laptop seems to be pretty thorough though. Arrived with win10 version 1903, no drivers needed updating.Update: the battery issue with it not locking in on left side causes the laptop to shut off if the battery moves on the left side.

Except for it not being in the original packaging, I would have never thought that this computer was not new. After twelve years of living with a windows 7 computer, I finally broke down when it did and sought an inexpensive alternative. Took a chance on this although it was refurbished because it offered a bigger screen than the new Asus I bought my wife last year for the same price. Everything was (and is) in excellent condition and has no blemishes. I am very happy with my decision and the product and saved some good money in the process. I have been using it for two months with no problems.

purchased 2 of them. One is working good, but other it doesn't. I tried to contact customer service via phone after I registered the product on their website. so far no one answered to me back. I am stuck with a useless laptop.

This was a replacement for my home computer. I was looking for a 256 gb SSD hard drive with 8 gb of ram. This fit the bill. Everything was as described except for the number of USB ports. The specs online said 3 ports but it only came with 2 USB ports. It boots up nicely and is very fast for spreadsheets and word docs.

I purchased this with doubts, but after I got it it suprised me. It worked great and stable. Only Pieve is that whom ever put windows 10 on it did not quite set it up right. I had an available Windows 10 OEM Disk to reinstall so no big deal. Before I reinstalled it I put in a 1TB SSD I had and 8GB DDR3 Memory I also Had. And now It Runs Screaming Fast. The near $180 I Paid was Worth it. It does not support Windows 11 but I do not care. Windows 11 sucks. Far as I am Concerned Microsoft needs to Keep Windows 10 It is more Stable. Again I love this laptop.

UPDATE: I've had an opportunity to use my replacement laptop.A few things from the start: (1) the replacement has a 7200 rpm 256 GB HDD instead of the 256 GB SSD as advertised. The 7200 rpm HDD failed requiring me to purchase a seperate SSD from Best Buy; (2) the replacement has 12 GB RAM instead of the 8 GB as advertised; (3) the replacement not not have the advertised on-board camera.I'm not happy with the HDD issue, but I suppose it's okay since I have more RAM. The replacement from a condition standpoint looks much better. There are far less cosmetic issues and the screen looks much better. Overall, I'm neither thrilled nor disappointed. I have changed by rating to 3 stars.******************************************************UPDATE: I received my replacement laptop today. I’ll update the review once I have an opportunity to use the laptop. Stay tuned.******************************************************INITIAL REVIEW: The machine that was sent to me was shipped with a secondary 68+ 6 cell battery. The battery refuses to charge and the machine displays errors that the battery is beyond its useful life. I contacted support and specifically mentioned the battery was the 68+ battery. What I received as a replacement today was a replacement on-board battery, NOT the 68+ 6 cell. I’ve contacted support to address this error, and will update my review once this is addressed.Additionally, I’ve discovered two more issues: (1) The on-board camera does not work. The machine displays an error that it is not connected. (2) There is a small puck/damage to my LCD screen.I’ve contacted support today to address these additional issues, and will also update my review when this is addressed.As I said in my email to support, I thought these machines were supposed to be “like-new” and Microsoft Certified. So far, I’m not impressed with what I received. If these issues are addressed, I plan to change by review to be more positive. I’m hopeful, and really want to change my review to 5 stars.
