I learned so much about old stereotypes about female leadership in general and things I can do to be a good leader. I think that this book will make a great gift for any female who wants to a leader in their chosen field.

This book describes how women can be great leaders. It tells you what skills you need to succeed as an great leader. This books explains what steps you need to take to be an excellent leader. Also, it explains the gender stereo types and glass ceiling. Lastly, the author describes how more women are entering leadership roles. How they are setting the bar high for everyone else. I would definitely recommend this for all women who wants to be leaders in an business.

This book discusses eight critical traits of a strong female leader. I was so relieved to read about other women like me, who also made a few career mistakes in the past. It made me realize I can learn from my mistakes and turn them into successes. I especially benefited from the chapter that talked about how to find your own leadership style. It was helpful to identify my strengths and personal styles, particularly since I find myself in transition from a long, teaching career, now working toward running my own business. The most important take away I got from this book, is how I need to learn to balance my confidence with my inner critic, since I’m such a perfectionist. I’m eager to put these strategies to good use! I also love helping and empowering other women as a positive role model.

As a woman in the workforce, this book provided some great tips and motivations on how to tackle my job as a female in corporate America. In glad I read this book (couldn’t put it down!) on a weeknight, because I was feeling rejuvenated and motivated to tackle the rest of my work week.
