I had problems with this device and contacted support who were very courteous and always came back overnight. It stopped working after a couple of months - the suggestion was that using it without the power connected might be too much with a big 4k monitor. I then plugged into the PD USB-C port and it worked 100% right away, great!

Likes - nice material in keeping with mac quality and has all the necessary ports including Ethernet port which many others on the market don't have.Dislikes - tendency to come out with the slightest move of the macbook . Not sure if this is avoidable given all on the market have similar design .

It does what it says. I've been using it for a few weeks now to set up a one cable connection set up for my macbook with a 43inch samsung tv + webcam + external hard disk. No complaints, works like a breeze all the time and no hiccups whatsoever.

I bought this to use as a docking station for my laptop. The USB accessories plugged into the device work very inconsistently and I end up plugging them directly into my laptop instead, completely defeating the purpose of the device.

Tis is a great little device and worked well for 3 months before one of the HDMI ports stopped working, annoying but the customer service from these guys was amazing. Immediate response from the customer service team and within a few days I have a replacement unit on my desk. 10 out of 10 guys.
