Wireless CarPlay CARABC Android Auto Adapter for Toyota Wireless CarPlay Dongle Highlander/RAV4/Tundra/Tacoma/Camry/Corolla/Avalon/Prius/CH-R/Sienna 2014-2019 with Entune2.0

I drive a 2016 Toyota Sienna, and the factory-installed screen in the middle was completely useless to me since I rely on my phone for navigation and other features. I've never modified my car before, so I was a bit concern at first. However, the installation process for this box turned out to be relatively straightforward. The instructions and videos provided were detailed, which helped alleviate my concerns.After installing it successfully, I feel that the overall process wasn't too difficult. I've been using it for a while now, and I'm quite satisfied, especially since I can now utilize the middle screen. There's an option to rate the screen quality, and I gave it five stars. In reality, the screen quality isn't great, but that's not the fault of the box. Since I didn't change the screen, the original screen quality remains average. However, the audio quality has improved, even though I didn't make any additional adjustments, which I find surprising.Additionally, there's less Bluetooth latency compared to the original Bluetooth connection. I'm pleased with this product!

I installed this in my wife’s 2017 Toyota sienna the system is very glitchy back up. Camera would work intermittently the sound quality through the unit was poor. The screen resolution was equivalent to a first generation Nintendo Game Boy I removed it sent it back for a refund.

Like many others have said, this Carplay adaptor is amazingly easy to install. All the plugs fit nicely and it was a fairly quick job. They biggest problem I had was fitting the unit in behind my radio, but nothing too bad.Also many of you complained about the sound and the resolution of the unit. I agree, the colors suck compared to stock or an aftermarket radio. But once I got used to the color distortion and what color was actually what, I've learned to live with it. The same goes for the sound; it's not as good as stock but it works for me. Friends tell me that when speaking on the phone it's a little tinny, but they said it's not bad.Overall, I'm going to keep this for now. At least I have Carplay in my 2017 Tacoma and I'm not staring at my small iPhone for directions. And if I don't need navigation I can always just click a button and go back to stock.

I recently purchased the CARabc Wireless Carplay Android Auto Adapter for my Toyota with Entune 2.0 (2014-2019) in the hopes of upgrading my in-car entertainment system. While the installation process was relatively easy, my overall experience with this product has been far from satisfactory.The display quality is not stellar, understandably limited by the stock RAV4 display. Additionally, during calls, others have noted a tinny sound reminiscent of a phone booth, impacting communication clarity.Installation was swift, taking only 15 minutes, followed by a 10-minute setup and calibration process.Despite these issues, the seller's customer support shines through. They promptly replaced the unit in an effort to address the sound quality problem, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.If you can overlook the display limitations and call quality, I would recommend this unit for anyone looking to easily add Apple CarPlay/Android Auto to your Toyota.

The installation on a highlander is relatively easy. Total install time from taking dash apart to putting everything back together was less than 30 minutes.The sound issues that others have commented on are none existent with me. Sound on car play sounds the same as the stock entune head unit does on the radio. No issues with feedback when talking on the phone through car play. It is easy to switch from car play (aux input) to another input on the radio. I left my phone paired with the blue tooth so that I can receive and make calls when not on car play. I have not tried the wireless car play feature. I only used wired so that my phone is charging at the same time. Display of car play is a little off on the crispness of the screen. Not terrible and still easily legible, but not as clear as the built in maps to the entune system. IF you are looking for a device to add car play to an entune 2.0 unit, this is it. Much cheaper than buying another head unit and having to worry about keeping all of the steering wheel controls for the radio and getting everything wired correctly. This is a simple plug and play unit. It does take 3-4 seconds for the unit to load. The only setting I had to change was the backup camera to OEM and it works like a charm. Turn on the car, wait for everything to load, put into to reverse, and the camera works.I would recommend this to anyone that has a toyota with an entune 2.0 radio installed.

Like the navigation on screen.Don’t like the unreliable Bluetooth connection. Don’t like having to turd off at play to use radio.

I had been looking for a replacement for the entune 2.0 system since shortly after i purchased my truck. Every time I look at a replacement head unit, with custom harness, install etc. it was always over the $2,000 range and you would usually lose other functionality of your current car stereo/ steering controls. I have a Toyota Tundra Platinum 2014, it took my about an hour to install this box, very simple, there are some good install videos on YouTube that I watched before deciding to purchase this.Pros:Very easy to install once you have the right pry tools. Hands free CarPlay using your factory screen for under $200Cons:Does NOT come with the 2 red pry tools shown in the photo. It can be a bit glitchy (shuts off randomly, disconnects). The CarPlay resolution is considerably worst than the oem toyota entune screen. The sound quality is also noticeably different than regular Bluetooth connection through the original system.As of now, I’m happy with the purchase and the fact that I was able to install it by myself and not cause any damage. If any better options become available I know I can get it right back out and do something else.

Fácil instalación y funciona correctamente

Este aparato lo instale en no más de 20 minutos, la conexión de los cables es ridículamente fácil, lo instale en un Prius C 2019 con radio fujitsu sistema Entune 2.0, solo use las palancas plásticas rojas qué venían en la caja para quitar con cuidado el plástico del tablero, use un dado de 10mm, desconecte y conecte todo si problema, muy responsivo, lo recomiendo

The media could not be loaded.  Fue muy facil de instalar, en mi caso fue un Prius Base 2018, y me tomo al rededor de 30 o 40 minutos el desmontar y montar nuevamente el estereo con el adaptador. Les recomiendo ver tutoriales de como desmontar el estereo en el vehiculo en especifico, para entender la "dificultad" del proceso.Pros:-Android Auto.-No se necesita ninguna modificacion (si acaso recomendaria cinta doble cara para fijar la unidad pero no es necesario)-Instalacion facil y rapida.-Puedes seguir usando los controles del Volante (Volumen, Siguiente/anterior, Llamar/Colgar y comandos de voz)Contras:-Estas limitado a la pantalla "original" del vehiculo.-Por la misma limitante tarda un poco en reconocer al momento de seleccionar.-Hay que configurar el audio (configurar volumenes para mejorar la calidad de microfono, audio de llamada, de musica, etc. esto se hace en las configuraciones del adaptador)-Hay que configurar el Equalizador, esto lo recomiendo mucho para mejorar o mejor dicho igualar la calidad del audio a como se tiene con el estereo "original"-Hay que ajustar los detalles de la pantalla al igual que los del audio para mejorar la calidad de los colores.

Se instala fácilmente, yo tengo una RAV4 2015. El único problema que tuve fue que la cámara de reversa no funcionaba, hay que entrar a los ajustes de la aplicación y habilitar cámara, entonces la cámara de reversa funciona inmediatamente. El cable RCA amarillo es solo si quieres conectar- una cámara frontalLas fotos son del modelo de mi radio y como quedó funcionando después de conectar el módulo.
