I installed this in my wife’s PC because her motherboard doesn’t support a second NVMe drive. Installation was straightforward, the drive was immediately recognized, and formatting took only a few minutes. I didn’t buy this expecting a dramatic speed boost, and performance stayed consistent with typical SATA SSD speeds—quiet, cool, and reliable. For systems that need more storage but don’t have NVMe slots available, this is a clean and dependable solution that fits perfectly without fuss.

About a year later and still no problems fast and great for a steam library

Works well for what utilities is. No cache. It is SATA 6.0 Gb/s connection. Slow compared to M.2 3.0x4 and up. It's a nice 2TB storage SSD.

(Salute) However, TeamGroup is "Defrauding" Consumers and Stealing Money! I LOST RESPECT FOR TeamGroup! How dare TeamGroup sale this GARBAGE with a "Pretty Label". WHERE TO START: First, Advertised @ 550/470. ACTUALLY @ 402/343 (20% Loss) Industry Standard: +/- 5% (25 MB/s) 400% LOSS Higher than Competitors!!! Second, VulcanZ "QLC" is OVERPRICED @ $65 for 400/350 MB/s I would give a Fair Market Price around $41.99 (No Higher) Third, NOW Customer(s) HAVE TO WIPE DRIVE or BUY COMPETITOR'S then CLONE. Either way... Customer(s) have to CHOOSE Lose: DATA or MONEY/TIME or... ALL THREE!!! Fourth, This SSD was Tested "ROCK SOLID", STABLE, and ZERO Thermal Issues. There are ZERO Defects. Just PURE LIES to the Consumer!!! Poor "Quality" Chips. This SSD WILL FAIL FAST under Normal Use in no time at all. It is NOT meant for Gaming AT ALL. Nor would I "Recommend" you to put an Operating System on this drive. I don't know if I would even Recommend Simple Back Up Storage. I DOUBT I would even Recommend THIS "QLC" SSD PERIOD. ***Even if YOUR SSD hits Manufacturers 550/470 for "QLC"... It is a "Matter of Time" before "THESE TeamGroup Chips" start to Fail FAST! Literally: A "NON-BRANDED" SDD would destroy "THIS" SSD. No lie or exaggeration. HORRIBLE Quality Control from TeamGroup. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED in you TeamGroup! I "LOVED" TeamGroup... Not NO MORE. Used Team Group for Years NOW. Back to Western Digital for ME!!!

The T-Force Vulcan Z 4TB is a great buy, or at least it was when I purchased one in 2023. It performed well and had decent read/write speeds only slightly less than advertised most of the time. However, three years later, the drive is showing signs of failing with growing incidents of fragmenting, corrupted files and disk errors. And these keep occurring after 16+ hours of disk checking and repair by Windows. If memory prices return to normal, this would be a great buy but keep in mind SSDs that are this large and from China/Taiwan, where quality control is not as important, seldom last.

great entry level SSD. Remember even the slowest SDD is orders of magnitude faster than even the fastest SSD. Great sustained rates, easy to install, and very good compatibility. no issues , and I don't "baby" my drives.

ركبت ٤ تيرابايت على سوني 4 برو ممتاز جداً وفرق معي في تحميل اللعاب . اتوقع ال4 السلم ما يركب عليه الا 2 تيرا او 1 تيرا على حسب موديل السوني 4 . عندك الإصدار الاول منه ما يركب عليه الا 1 تيرا ssd طبعاً . أضفت هذا التعليق بعد استخدام سنه واكثر تقريباً وممتاز جداً
