Excellent budget monitor with great screen resolution
I'm not a gamer, just a business user who needs screen real estate. So far this monitor has been excellent. It's a great combination between physical size and pixel density. Colours are good, refresh rate seems fine. There was one issue with the HDMI cable I had used. The cable wasn't good enough and the screen with occasionally black out. I swapped out the cable and everything has been fine ever since.Overall it's an excellent monitor and I'm going to buy a second one to improve my triple screen setup

Amazing Value
I've worked with IPS screens for years, being a professional digital artist and photographer. Colour fidelity is extremely important to me so I'd never use a screen like this for work, however it's a pleasure to use casually and is surprisingly good quality considering the cost. Viewing angles are not as good as a pro-grade IPS screen, but that's to be expected - the screen of the Acer is tremendously wide so expect to see whites turn a bit grey when you're not looking straight-on. The screen is also very bright; I've set mine at 35% brightness and it's great for all uses without straining the eyes. There's very little (if any) backlight bleed on the unit that I received and the uniformity is very good. It also doesn't seem to suffer from burn-in that my Dell can sometimes exhibit, where very bright areas on the screen remain for some time even after the picture is changed to something darker.Whilst not a high-frequency screen, games and movies look fantastic on it. I don't see any obtrusive evidence of ghosting that some users find with these 60Hz panels, and the colours are so punchy that I am very happy.I got this for £180 as part of the Black Friday sales... absolute bargain. Even at £250 this screen is well worth a look.

Good monitor
Nice clear picture from the right angle, black is represented good enough if angle is straight on to you, bit of light bleed on completely black picture, gaming is really good and reactive, price is 4 stars due to the fact that I have seen the 4K version on a lower price after I bought this one a month later on.

Not durable, not good, it's just CHEAP in the purest sense of the word.
The quality of the image is excellent hence the one star, the problems are:1. Viewing angles are awful.2. Quality of the speakers is dreadful.3. Strongly perceptible light bleeding on every corner, blacks aren't black.4. Speakers stopped working after less than a month of use.Let's face it, there's no 32 inches 2K monitor at this price anywhere so I'll suck it up this time and stick to it like a champ. What I did though was to return it and get another one (same model) with the speakers working. I'll keep you up to date if they break again. Hopefully shouldn't. Be aware strangely the price went from 300 pounds from the first to 240 for the second. I felt ripped off.

Brilliant Extra Large Monitor
Fantastic features for the money including 3.5mm jack for headphones, qhd screen, multiple ports, pip, vesa mounting and a sleek design.1st monitor I received had a dead pixel in the top left corner of the screen but amazon replaced this no problem. Lots of room to split the screen and view many documents at once. Pip is a great feature and plenty if screen space to use it.

Budget 1440p Monitor exceeds expectations.
I've been happily using an HP 27xw IPs 1080p screen for the last year but fancied an increase in resolution to take advantage of my PC's hardware, namely an I7 7700K paired with a GTX 1070. 1440p seems to be the sweet spot, at 4K 60fps I think a 1080 Ti is required if you want to game at higher settings.Originally I was planning to buy the Acer Predator XB271HU 27 inch IPS gsync monitor but got cold feet over the high price and numerous reports of questionable quality control, especially concerning unacceptable levels of back-light bleed. Well here we have a 1440p 31.5 inch IPS alternative at a really low price, 241 pounds inc delivery (at time of writing). OK there's no Gsync and it's a 60hz panel (the listed 75hz is only available at a lower res), so if you want to game at above 60fps without screen tearing then best to look elsewhere. Anyway I thought it's worth a punt, and I believe I have come up trumps. The display performs very well, It's crisp, sharp, and has great colour rendition and with a 4ms response time it is certainly fast enough for my gaming needs. I've put the monitor through its paces with Call of Duty WW2, Wolfenstein the new Colossus, Xcom 2 War of the Chosen, GTA V and Watch Dogs 2 (all locked to 60fps via VSync). It's a pleasure to game on with no ghosting, artifacts or glitches. Certainly a step up from 1080p and I have have been largely impressed. Being an IPS panel It's also great for my Photoshop and video editing needs. Plus at 31.5 inches the screen offers a significant size increase over my old 27 inch HP (which is now doing a sterling job as my second monitor). On a side note the power supply is built into the monitor so there's no external power brick to add further clutter at the rear. The screen has a Matt finish and does a good job reducing unwanted reflections. On the negative side my panel does suffer from some minor back-light bleed in the lower left hand and right hand corners, but this is only really noticeable when doing a bleed test, and not noticeable in general use. I have certainly seen far worse examples in monitors that cost 3 times the price. It seems most IPS panels suffer from this to an extent, and to what extent seems to be a lottery no matter how much you're prepared to pay. Also the viewing angles are not as good as my HP, most noticeably when googling ie a predominately all white background, (though it still beat the pants off any TN panel). The stand only offers tilt adjustment, so my ideal height adjustment has been achieved by the low tech solution of placing a book under the stand.. Out of the box the setup was fine..All in all this monitor has exceeded my expectations and highly recommend it considering the price. This does seem to be a bit of a bargain, if the panel is a good one. I can't say anything about reliability as I've only used it for a few of days so far..I've now used this monitor for almost 4 months, and can only say that it still performs perfectly..UPDATEOriginally gave it 4 out of 5 stars...but the monitor failed today after 30 months.. I was using it this morning and the screen went black. After testing with multiple pc's, cables and other monitors it is without a doubt a problem with the monitor. I suspect it might be the inbuilt power supply but can't say for sure. Not great for only 2 1/2 years use. My older second monitor by a year or two (an HP Pavilion 27xw IPS ) continues to soldier on.

Pretty Good.
Very good, for pretty much anything, gaming is pretty much perfect. I play anything from fast paced FPS to games like total war and civilization, It works well with them all. The Quality of the screen is ridiculous! The Wow factor! It does have a little bit of light bleed, but hardly noticeable when your occupied on something.Good For gaming? YesGood For Watching Movies? YesGood for editing video? YesGood for music production? YesCan't really see anything bad about it, considering the price.I do recommend.

good quality - good price
This is a lovely screen and being curved it puts less pressure on the peripheral eyesight. The picture is clear and sharp and it's well worth the price. My only niggle is the little touch controls under the bottom of the screen: if you reach below it, it's easy to turn it off by mistake!
