These seem to work. Had a problem in my garden office that has been going on a while. used various products but there still seemed to be ants depositing their dead so hadn't fully dealt with the problem. Lit these and watched through the glazing expecting to see a room full of smoke. That doesn't happen (as mentioned by others) - I think the smoke is just from the fuse burning off to release what is contained beneath. Proof will be what happens over the next few weeks but there were a fair few dead insects to clear up and no depositing of dead ants/chewed insulation so I'm hopeful.

I brought these just to try before i called out a professional. I had a problem with Carpet Beetles so wasnt entirely sure i these would work. The are i was treating was the loft and its quite big, so i used 3 evenly spaced out. First of all, lighting them was easy and i had plenty of time to light all 3 before exiting the loft. I closed the loft hatch and left then for a good few hours before going back up. When i did so, i could still see quite a few beetles moving around so i thought it hadnt worked. However, i have since left it a week and gone back and all i am seeing are lots of dead beetles, not a single live one. I will definitely be buying these again if they work that well, and a fraction of the cost of calling in a pest control person.

I’m yet to use it - putting 3 stars only because the images are misleading in terms of size. It’s really tiny, half the size of what’s shown in pictures .

These work. used once in a while it keeps the ‘crawly’ population at bay.

These seem to work ok. Don't play with the fuse, literally snap the lid off the can, put on something heat resistant and light - you will hear the hiss once the fuse has caught. I only have a small house - shut all windows, opened ll doors / cupboard doors, even in kitchen, so I knew smoke would get everywhere and there would be no hiding. I forgot the smoke alarm...that must have annoyed the neighbours! I only left for the minimum two hours before coming back and venting - but seemed to have done the trick - lots of moths. Quick vacuum, air the house. Smell of smoke lingered through the evening, but I couldn'y smell it on bedding or clothes afterwards.
