Nice small package however can’t get oil as hot as advertised.On full power it can’t heat the oil passed 150 C. I had to test using a separate thermometer as the machine has no way to tell you if your oil has reached the desired temp yet either.It still works. It will cook food but maybe should have went with something with more power.

The fryer is already in the recycling bin after being used three times. It failed to get hot enough to cook adequately. The on/off light came on randomly and gave no indication of the heat of the oil. The fryer was rather small but required a lot of oil.

I’m a novice to the world of deep frying and was worried about using deep fryers but I’ve tried cooking doubles cooked chips and fried chicken and they’ve both come out fantastic!! I’m really surprised by how good it is! My only few issues and I appreciate that this is a mini fryer but a tiny bit larger and deeper would have helped but my only annoying issue is that every time I lifted the cover up to bring the food out the condensation and oil on the cover would drip towards the back of the unit on to the table. However it’s otherwise really good for occasional frying purposes and I would still buy it even with these issues!

we used this 3 or 4 times the chips were not browned they were soft and you could not pick one up to eat like you should be able to we emptied the oil out and when we wiped it out with the dishcloth the non stick coating peeled of the bottom very disappointed I would not advise anyone to buy this

5 stars for ease of use, very small and neat excellent for a small family or couple. Only gave 3 stars for ease of cleaning because the whole thing is very light weight but as the lid doesn't come off, you have to hold that open while pouring out the oil and that causes it to dribbled down the side but I would would still recommend it as its a very good price.

Set to max temp it turned off very quickly. Put half basket frozen chips into oil, hardly a sizzle and heater didn't turn back on, the chips just sat there not cooking. After a few minutes and a fiddle with the dial the heater finally came on bought chips to a cooking temperature and went off again. Eventually I got my chips cooked had to mess with dial again to get the oil up to temperature for 8 bits of scampy, put these in the oil, the light went out but now way was the temperature any where near 180 . By the time I got my scampy cooked my chips where cold and needed to be recooked. As said Useless bit of kit

Bought this fryer 6 months ago usage mainly for chips and noticed today when changing oil there were clumps of a solid material, this turned out to be the non stick coating peeling from inside the fryer, unbeknown to me the small particles on the chips, normally to tell you to change the oil turned out to be not stick coating. Obviously the fryer can no longer be used and as the seller is in china no hope of a replacement or refund will be available.

It’s ok for the price in terms of temperature and size. Doesn’t reach very high temperature but ok for most things.The huge problem, and the reason for my 1 star, is the cleaning... what a mess! Really hard to clean, and when you’re trying to take out the used oil, prepare yourself to have a lot of oil on your counters or wherever you are doing it... the way it’s done it’s just impossible to do a clean job, and a LOT of the oil spills and drips to the counter. And I mean a lot!
