Has anyone used this for hydroponics yet?

Have it for a couple of weeks now, so far so good. If it's anything like my previous pumps it's going to stop working. Hope I'm wrong.

What size is the tube? I need to buy more as the provided tube is not long enough.

Will this work with a 12v DC transformer instead of solar?
