Free of sulfates
Great shampoo! Does a good job of cleaning with no sulfates / sulfides. A little pricey, but bars last several months. Get a soap keeper that will allow it to dry between showers.

favorite shampoo bar
I've been using this one for a few years now, after trial and error with other shampoo bars. It does take an adjustment period. Now I wash my hair once or twice a week and occasional do an apple cider vinegar rinse (like once a month). This shampoo doesn't leave your hair silky *in the shower*. when it's wet, it feels rough and kinda waxy. Don't panic! I usually air dry it or hair dry it to about 60% dry and then start combing through. Once it's completely dry, it's soft! I like that this shampoo doesn't strip away the natural volume and texture in my hair. Now when I use bottled shampoo (traveling or at a family member's house), my hair feels thin, flat, and ...somehow too soft.To transition: if you wash your hair every day, continue to wash your hair every day. alternate bottle and bar for a week or two, then go to bar. After another week or two, you can see if you can start skipping days.If you have hair that needs taming, you'll also want either a conditioner bar or to use an apple cider vinegar rinse after every shampoo. to ACV rinse: 1-2 tsp in a 16oz cup of water. if you use too much ACV, you'll end up with limp, kinda greasy looking hair. This shampoo has done a good job of getting out smells, the only one that lingers for me is sunblock. I like that it isn't heavily perfumed, just clean.I can't imagine using anything else now, and the bar is so easy to travel with (unless you're me and you forget it).

Good cleaning, nice smell
I bought this shampoo soap a couple years ago and really like it. However, I paid about $31 and don't like it well enough to pay the price they are charging now. It makes no sense! Inflation has been almost nothing since then. It makes me think that someone may have bought a large amount and is selling it high. Whatever, I liked it at $31, not interested at $50+.

Works really well, lathers great, leaves natl oils.
A rather interesting shampoo in my estimation. It actually lathers as good or better than bottled shampoos I have tried which was a positive surprise for me. As stated by manufacturer it does clean while leaving natural oils behind. For me this is great and I use this most days, but on weekly basis will use something else (i.e., most any bottled shampoo) to wash out oils as well as clean. Anyway, give it a go, think you will be pleased unless you have excessively oily hair.

Squeaky Clean
Have been using it for years and it just does a better job. Cleans my hair so well I can actually hear it squeak sometimes when I squeeze it out after a shower.

this is the BEST shampoo ever
If you have curly and/or dry hair, this is the BEST shampoo ever! Over the years I've tried many high end salon shampoos, including No Poo (made for curly hair) and this beats them all hands down. I've used nothing else since. My hair is shoulder-length, soft and very curly, falling in ringlets. After washing I use a pick to comb through my hair -- the comb moves through my hair noticeably easier. I use product daily (conditioner I leave in my hair) and my curls get wrecked (frizzy) overnight, so I need to wash my hair daily. Liggett's cleans well without drying, without making my hair feel damaged. I HIGHLY recommend this product!

good for the earth and your hair!
I hat plastic and have been in the market for a good clean shampoo bar that works well on my flaky scalp. This is the ticket! My hair is clean and my scalp doesn’t itch! It’s so gentle I use it on my 10 month old and her hair looks shiny and clean every wash.

Awesome Product
I love these shampoos. I've been using this brand for 3 years. It does not dry out my hair which is color treated. It does not make my scalp itchy. Combined with my conditioner, it's perfect. Also, great if you are trying to go zero waste. The paper packaging is compostable.
