Exactly as needed. Help for others using this…. Before you plan to use any length of it, soak the length needed in a bucket of water at least over night, or a day. Reason is this is porous product and the reason strimmer lead snaps is because it’s gone brittle, loosing its flexibility.Soaking it makes it last far longer and won’t brake like unsoaked will do. Was told this by someone who was involved with the production of making it.

I only noticed when I went to re-order, that the line is actually 253m long, as shown in the photo, and not 261m as quoted in the title and in the text. Odd error to make? So, you get 8m less than advertised, which is two refills of 4m. Not serious, but annoying all the same. Ebay sellers mark it correctly (and cheaper).Otherwise, it's strimming cord, and works fine with my Stihl strimmer. I've used it for 10 years now and would always stick to the manufacturer's brand.

Not the cheapest on the market, but definitely worth it. Cuts well and lasts 10 times longer than cheaper alternatives.

Last roll purchased was Silverline . . . it was OK! It worked . . . BUT when I ran out I bought STIHL (first time using their product).WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!!It cuts better / it lasts longer!The Stihl is more flexible (less brittle) . . . it breaks less frequently especially at the cutting head . . . that means far less down-time re-threading the line.Definitely 10 out of 10
