This was my favorite puzzle I’ve ever done (and I’ve done on thousands). It’s not overwhelming because there are 16 bags that you can open one at a time and they follow a grid pattern when putting together which is helpful. The pieces are extremely high quality and incredibly satisfying to click together. I’ve never done a puzzle with plastic pieces and I’m now obsessed. You need a large space to do this and I would recommend using puzzle trays to make your life easier. I LOVE all the hidden references and doing the maze at the end. Mine is still put together because I just can’t bring myself to take it apart, although I want the experience again! I’ll be buying many more puzzles from this company. Yes, it was a bit pricey, but overall, I would say it was definitely worth it.

Pintoo deserves 10 stars out of 5. I’ve been puzzling non stop for the last 6 months, so we’ve experienced many different qualities. Pintoo ranks top , no competition that I’ve found to date. Let me list the reasons I am obsessed with the Pintoo puzzling experience. 1. The durability of the pieces. When I first realized they were plastic , I thought “hmmm this is weird and kind of cheesy” . Silly me. I was used to ridiculous cardboard pieces. But let me tell you … these suckers lock into each other and you have to peel them apart if you want them apart. The snap is oh so satisfying 🤤. 2. The separated bags so you can build a panel at a time. This reason should have been my number one reason. Because they are separated into panels you can puzzle a little section at a time. We have a puzzle table with drawers and we can take the drawer out of the table and pour one bag of pieces out and it fits perfectly in this little lap table (drawer). This allows me to sit back and puzzle more comfortably, otherwise I’m bending over a table , trying to see through thousands of pieces and reach around to grab them. Building one section at a time is a game changer if you enjoy efficient puzzling. I’ve become a speed demon with these puzzles. I don’t even look at the image of the puzzle, I just know I have the section and it’s specific pieces and I cruise. 3. Repeatability. We have put together probably a dozen pinto puzzles , and have re assembled each of them at least once, some twice. 4. Because the pieces lock together so tightly , you can save and store in its finished form. If you’re on the fence about spending the money , it’s worth it. It will be hard to go back to regular old puzzle materials. The only tough part about these is that there is a break down process , if you want to break it back down. I love the panel system, so I go through the effort to break them down and store in separate bags. This process doesn’t bother me , it’s all a bit meditative and satisfying. I’d love to see how Pintoo makes their puzzles ! I hope one day they share that process with their fans. 🙏🏻

Favorite puzzle of all time. It comes sectioned in about 16 bags in order to keep one's sanity. Pieces snap tightly together and are sturdy plastic. Puzzle could probably survive nuclear war. Took me about 8 days and was soo fun to assemble and take in all the rooms. Now I just need a giant frame!

My mother is disabled loves puzzles, this one set a new bar for standards of quality, image definition, fit and finish. The pieces snapping together and holding tight without glue is the icing on the cake.

This is a VERY unique puzzle. Not only is the picture very unique, but the pieces are made of plastic. My only complaint about the pieces is that they can sometimes be extremely difficult to snap together which normally is an indicator that a piece doesn't fit. This isn't the case for these. The pieces are almost impossible to punch back out once they are together, and there are many repeating piece shapes so many will fit that don't match the picture. This is mostly fine if you only put one section together at a time. But because of how many match other pieces, I hands down don't recommend mixing them all together. You may have a nightmare on your hands if so. That said, because it's plastic, it's not going to be affected by humidity which now makes me want all my puzzles in plastic. Additionally, due to the very tight fit, it's extremely easy to move the completed sections around. This would make an excellent gift for other puzzlers and is a pretty good value overall.

I’m addicted to these puzzles. They’re so much fun. I’m a particular fan of this artist and this is my second by him. Comes with a poster of the picture as the full image is not on the box and allows better visibility of all the details. The pieces are quite small but that’s not a problem for me, might be for someone else. They come portioned in numbered bags of about 300 (I think) so you can do a section (this one had 16 bags). I thought that was nice since I’ve always quit large puzzles of this size with all the pieces mixed up and all over the table, occupying it for however long. The snap and hold together feature of the plastic pieces is the best part, allowing me to pick it up and move it out of the way with ease. I used to do wood puzzles but their fit is a bit loose and I’m not a fan of cardboard, the way they fit and dust and sometimes delaminate. Plastic pieces are awesome, and the snap is so satisfying. I’ve since bought two more puzzles and if I could I’d get even more. It’s relaxing. Look for the cute/cool scary movie references hidden throughout the spooky house’s rooms. And have fun doing the maze when you’re done! This was a Valentine’s Day gift from my husband so I’m writing my review in his profile.
