Kenda K48 Bicycle Tyre, Black (14 inches)

Replaced the rear tyre on an Islabike Cnoc 14 with one of these. Great! Easy to fit and very pleased with it. Quick delivery too.

The media could not be loaded.  Needed to find some replacement tyres for my mini-bike and they are hard to find in this size. These are fatter than the 14x1.25 they were to replace and I did wonder if they would fit without rubbing. Worked out ok and the fatter tyres seem like a good upgrade. Size is actually 14x2.15 54-254 .Dinged one star for product quality as they are hard to get centered on the wheel and rim had a bit of a kink in.**** Update Since fitting and trying out on the road eventually turns out the tyres are off centre and don't fit the rim. This is unbearable and makes the ride like clown bike. Tried re-centering but just won't fit and gets worse over time until unusable. When tyre is removed can clearly see that tyre is not sitting on rim correct place.***Further update. Was so fed up with the above bouncing feel I ordered some new tyres from another supplier of the same apparent size. 14*2.15 57-254 That 54<=>57 makes all the difference and the new tyres sit and perform correctly. See last photo in sequence.Moral is check those sizes carefully and fit them as soon as you get them to avoid falling outside the return window.

The tyre in itself looks good, hence 3 stars - the description (product specification) is not sufficient.I just tried to fit one of these tyres to an Islabike Cnoc 14. Indeed the tyre is a 14" tyre, what the product description doesn't state is the width - it should state this. The width of this tyre is 2.125; so the tyre size is 14 x 2.125. Unfortunately, this makes the tyre 'oversized' for a Islabike as their standard is 14 x 1.5.Hopefully the photo attached shows this as a 'fat' back tyre - it's fits the rim, but I had to remove a bolt from the frame in order for it to move freely.My boy needs the bike tomorrow, otherwise I would have returned the tyre.I suggest you disregard other review stating this is perfect for an Islabike cnoc 14, it isnt.

ohne Hilfsmittel war es nicht möglich diesen Reifen auf eine 14 Zoll Felge aufzuziehen. Da es schon bei einer Seite kaum möglich war diesen Reifen auf die Felge zu bringen, hab ich das gar nicht weiter verfolgt und lieber Big Apple genommen, der auch rumlag, dieser war deutlich leichter drauf zu bringen. Also der Kenda ist besonders eng.(was er aber vielleicht auch sein muss, dass er bei seiner Größe noch sicher auf der Felge hält. Daher trotzdem 3 Sterne)Wer es trotzdem versuchen will, der nimmt einen Haarföhn und föhnt den Reifen war. Wenn es geht, dann so.Hab es aber nicht ausprobiert, beim Big Apple war's mit Haarföhn recht einfach, aber wie gesagt, der ist etwas größer und ging von vorne herein schon leichter drauf.

Der Reifen hat auf keine 14 Zoll Felge gepasst, war selbst für den Typen vom Fahrradladen nicht rund zu montieren.
