A great replacement for the icky suger bowl. Avoid the clumps from wet sppons. Pours nicely and closes nice so humity does not clump the suger either. Or get 2, for syrup or honey

As long as you store it upright (fell over once on my new fridge's giant door shelf - had a spill). I love this thing. It is fairly inexpensive & I find not too sticky after months of use by my 9 year old son. It will leak, but I found some advice from a prior review that I'll poorly reiterate here: when pouring, tilt over the food item & then engage the trigger, then release the trigger before bringing the dispenser upright again. This minimizes drips down the spout. I usually wash this puppy between refills so a few drips are not too tough to deal with, plus I just will wipe the bottom with a warm wet cloth once every other month or so . . . in use by my family for about 5 months now.

Got this to put my honey in rather then the plastic bear bottle. Sturdy and easy to use. Some other users are repoted problems with the spout dripping, but I have not had that problem at all. Just close the spout when you are done dispensing and the return to the upright position.

We get our honey raw, and locally in big quart jars, so finding a good dispenser was a must. This one is decent, but not drip proof. It doesn't drip much, but after a day or so there will inevitably be drips down the side of the glass, and it's not really a big deal to just wipe it up every so often. I learned not to tip it upside down when pouring, as there is an air hole just underneath the handle for effective pouring, but I'd tipped it so much that honey dripped out of the hole. Overall it's a nice dispenser and I'd buy it again. It would be nice if a more perfect one exists, but so far I have not seen one.

We are trying to get away from plastic. This container is the one. It is glass and metal. It works great. It is like I am at ihop every morning.

When it first arrived I was impressed by the quality. The glass is thick and the top is metal I stead of cheap plastic. It's also been nice having syrup look cute when it's left out. I've been careful of swiping the lip on a plate to remove extra dribble before setting it back down. It had been keeping it clean and drop free. However, it's randomly started to leak from the back. It leaves puddles of syrup on the counter. So disappointing! I'd like a refund, but cleaning a used syrup canister and finding a box to fit it is too much effort. Do not buy this product.

I use it for keeping my dish soap on the sink. It looks so pretty with Dawn blue and the slider allows just the right amount to be dispensed. I'm sure it's fine for syrup and honey, but that's beside the point around here.

Thick glass and functions well. I like to put my 100% pure maple syrup in this versus the plastic bottle. It comes in. Easy to clean and seals well.

Nice looking and good quality. Pours well too. I put some of my pure maple syrup from a big container in it and store it in the fridge. When I want the syrup, I just screw off the metal top and microwave the glass bottle to just take the chill off the syrup. Very happy with it.

I am phasing out plastics wherever possible and no longer buy honey in plastic bottles. All the other honey dispensers were also plastic. This is the only glass one and is a bit expensive but is worth it.If you release the thumb lever while the honey is still flowing it does not make a drip.
