Takes me back to my youth, lovely taste.
I've not had liquorice tea for ages but fancied a wee change from my usual Fennel so ordered these. Wow they are great. When I was young we used to get liquorice root now and again. Basically twigs that you chew and sook the flavour out of. Ooh, I see that Amazon actually sells them. I think I'll just stick to this tea though. It tastes just like those except you don't have the twiggy bits to chew and contend with.It is quite sweet so for me its a one a day kind of drink, a bit sweet to drink all the time but a lovely after dinner treat.

Good flavour liquorice tea
I love this tea and drink it regularly. It's soothing and calming and l like liquorice taste.I was purchasing it my local supermarket but thought I'd give Amazon ago it's actually more expensive so disappointing and the back to just buying it in supermarket.

Taste great and also a good price
Love these! They are really strong so I can top them up with more hot water and they still taste great. They are especially nice with a mint teabag added and seem to help my IBS also. Will definitely reorder.

Delicious, sweet and warming
Delicious tea. So good. I rarely take notice of the warning to only drink one cup a day.They were on a very good deal when I bought them, saving a fortune on the supermarket price per box.

Too Weak
There are a couple of reviews that say these bags make really strong liquorice tea, but I think it is too weak.I had previously bought some crushed liquorice root off a well-known auction site and the recipe says to use a level tablespoon of the root and simmer in a mug of water for 10 minutes. That makes delicious tea. These bags contain only a teaspoon of liquorice root, if that, so the tea is much weaker.It is nice enough but not as good as using the raw ingredient.Remember not to consume too much liquorice as it can create problems (and check if you are taking other medication).
