My skin tends to be dry, but I hate using thick moisturizers on my face. This 'essence' doesn't hydrate as well as a lotion, but it is definitely more hydrating than your average toner. It's on the thick side, so it does feel like you are moisturizing. I found that if I use this daily, I can then only using a lotion on my face every few days.

This does make my dry skin feel soft and it does help somewhat with moisture. However it wasn't super hydrating or anything and I still needed the same thick balm like moisturizer to handle my dry skin. I think this is a nice product but it's not something I can't live without.

While I am also using this toner, the main reason I ordered it is for my husband. He has dry, flaky skin that is worsening due to chemotherapy. Its lightweight and easy to apply. Absorption is super fast; doesn't leave a sticky/greasy feel behind. Provides moisture almost immediately rendering skin soft and smooth. And it does take care of flaky areas. He's always had flaky patches on both side of his nose. Since beginning chemo, some flaky and extra dry areas, though small, have popped up on his cheeks. This toner removes the flakes. But the best part is, the results are long-lasting.I use the toner as well on my dry, sensitive skin and have no issues. Softens and moisturizes and does feel nice as its being applied.Overall, a wonderful toner that delivers long lasting results.

This toner is lifechanging it gives a tiny tingle that I expect from toners but it's thicker than most and goes on smooth and makes my face feel soft, supple and alive and the toner has very impressive ingredients. I have VERY sensitive skin and I had no adverse reactions to the toner. I've been using it now for a couple of weeks and I can see visible signs of improvement in my overall skin condition. The product is a bit pricey but I think it's worth it. I would recommend this product

This toner felt lightweight on the skin, but helped with hydration. It didn’t leave a tacky sensation on my face. I use this before Estee Lauder advanced night serum (holy grail). It doesn’t pill nor cause pilling. It is also good under makeup. It is fragrance free, which is great and the product does not have a chemical smell. The product didn’t irritate my skin or cause redness. I’m not sure if it’s worth it for the price because the ingredients don’t really stand out and could be found in other similar products at a lower price.

This Erno Laszlo hydrating toner is amazing. It comes in a solid glass container and a dropper. I think I was sent a wrong product. But the toner is silky smooth with lightly scented. A little amount will be enough for the whole face. The liquid is easily applied to the face and after a light massage it is readily absorbed into the skin. The fine lines reduced with good hydration. I just used any facial moisturizer to keep the face hydrated. 5-star.

This Erno Laszlo Extra Dry Skin Supplement Essence comes in a very nice good size bottle. The essence is of running consistency with subtle scent. This essence works very with and before the serum from the same time in providing extra hydration for my sensitive skin. The essence although stated for dry skin, actually works well for my dehydrated combo skin and does not irritate. The higher price makes this a nice option for someone who wants to pamper themselves with nice things.

My wife has very sensitive skin and often has problems with beauty products causing irritation or itching. She's had no bad effects using this product. She likes the way it smells and that it soaks in quickly and doesn't leave a greasy feeling to her skin. She says it moisturizes very well. I tried it on my very dry elbows and I agree.
