Sorry, skunks! You're not welcome at my house
No one knows why, but skunks and possums invaded my neighborhood in the last 3 months. Every time I walk with my dog, she finds one in the bushes. It was more common to see raccoons nearby but they were more concentrated near the trash bins. However, lately, I had more than one close encounter with skunks ready to attack me (and I know how disgusting their attack can be) inside my backyard. The problem got worse when I noticed that at least two skunks were sleeping under my grill every night. I wouldn't have a problem with that if I didn't know that they transmit serious diseases like leptospirosis, hepatitis, and rabies. At first, I tried a cloth soaked in ammonia and they didn't show up for a few days, but when the cloth got dry, the effect is none because the smell is no longer effective against them. And when I thought about it, I realized that ammonia is kinda toxic for my dog too, so not the best option. Then I read a listicle about clean and harmful ways of repelling the skunks and the Careland Chicken Coop Animal Repellent was presented as one of the options. This product was the best thing I could have bought! I watched the skunk's reaction on my neighbor's night vision camera and it was like Superman and kryptonite! They simply bypass my house now, even after a barbecue night.Add to all that the solar-powered technology. And props to the designer who created the "angry look" of it. Makes the memorability and shareability of the product so much easier. My neighbor also bought a pair.I recommend it!

These do not deter critters
Great in concept, terrible in execution. My night camera caught video of the rats walking and climbing right over these. Did not offer any protection for my garden beds or fruit trees.

They really work!
All my tomatoes were being eaten, I mean every one of them. I knew it wasn't deer but I didn't know exactly what kind of creature was doing the damage. I put the chicken coop solar animal deterrants randomly in my garden and they worked so well that I purchased two more. It did not completely eliminate the problem but I started getting tomatoes again! I was very happy with these products.

KEEPING pests away
Animal repellent lights is just what I needed for our property. I have a peach tree that gets ransacked in the early summer. The varmint doesn't leave us one peach- and the peaches aren't even ripe yet! I don't want to spray anything on the peaches - because we don't want to consume pesticides so I thought having some red blinking eyes would help deter possums, deer, and or squirrels from getting our peaches. These were a perfect find! I look forward to next season's peach harvest.

Hassle free peace of mind
I put this up on my chicken coop to keep predators away. Easy and simple to use, just hang it up and it will flash once it gets dark outside. The product itself is a nice size that blends into the exterior of the coop and gives me peace of mind that it can deter predators at night.

Does not work
This item failed from day one. The day I received it from Amazon, I set it up but later that night, the deer were back eating my flowers in my front and back gardens where I had set up the item. Very disappointed.

Works fantastic! Even works on my dog
We had a cat who kept coming to our chicken coop every night trying to break in. Adding these lights has helped so much, haven't seen the cat in weeks and my chicks are safe :)

The rascally raccoon thought it was a joke
The red lights flash at night and turn off in the day. Raccoon just kept coming around like he owned the place.
