I use this for a spice ball for soups and it holds so well!! Easy to open and close and easy to clean as well.

Great small parts container for my ultrasonic cleaner. Holds everything securely. Can be a bit finicky to get closed. Once it gets bent it probably won't work and more but for now it's great.

This works great instead of a bouquet garni in soups and the like. It keeps the herbs from breaking up and providing a bitter bite in the soup. These screw on, instead of the others that have a latch. The latches have broken over the years, but it is hard to wear out a screw thread.

I used this in my first use of my crockpot -- had a bunch of peppercorns and a bay leaf inside the spice ball. There was more than enough room to add more spices if the recipe had called for it. I only made enough food for two people, so the top stuck out above the ingredients and fluid, but at least the spices got to steep just fine. It stayed closed the entire time, which is great, but sometimes the hook didn't stay hooked and often fell in the soup -- there's just nothing small enough on a crockpot for the little hook to hang onto -- but it's easy enough to fish out with a spoon. All in all I'm pleased with it, even if it's a little bigger than I anticipated. I was kind of hoping I'd be able to use it for tea as well, but I usually only make one serving in a mug or a cup, and this would be more ideal for making a pot of tea.

Used these to mull spices for hot apple cider. Worked great and was nice not to have to strain the cider.

I consider myself an accomplished cook, so I have quite a few infusers. All different sizes and different mesh gaps, etc… that being said, I believe this is going to be my go to strainer from now on. It’s VERY roomy, and the mesh is wide enough to easy allowed fluids in an out, but not the spices, even the really small ones. The top screws on securely, and it is also easy to remove, but I am not worried about this thing coming apart during mid cooking. Perfectly designed. Recommended!

After she visited and loved how easy it made making my "famous" mulled cider, I had to buy one for her to keep her from stealing mine!!!

Bought in past for using with pickling spices when I cook corned beef. Only one I have found for this purpose.

Bought it to make catnip tea for my cats. The mesh is small enough that there was no loose bits in the tea.

Definitely comes with a hook.Unlike those useless small sized ones, this one is the perfect size, large indeed so you can make it as strong or as weak as you want instead of weak only with all the other tiny ones. Very well made, amazing price. It does arrive bent but it really doesn’t matter, pretty much will bend in and out during usage to remove the leaves. The steel netting is very sturdy so the bends are not going to make holes. Doesn’t look like it’ll break. I always leave it in the whole time I’m drinking the tea. It doesn’t rust.

Me encanto, lo utilizo para hacer caldo de camarón 🦐 y me queda súper delicioso utilizando ya que ahí meto solo las cabezas de los camarones y suelta mucho mejor los sabores sin necesidad de que el camarón se re coza
