Easy to put away and it's big enough for a jack russell with a cone
Bought this for my mums jack russell when she had surgery on her legs. She was comfortable in there for long hours while she was forced to rest and had plenty of space for her, considering she had a large cone on her head. Enough space to move around and store water/food bowls too.It packs nicely and was able to get it back out when I got my 2 cats so I could sleep and also use it to introduce eachother to get used to their scents. The jack Russel is on the bigger side, so probably okay for a colly or a breed around that size, if that helps. It's also very sturdy considering its flapjack. It's handy for pet owners to have on hand.

It folds down flat very easily if I need the space in the car and ...
I have had this for over 18 months now and it has been marvellous. I keep my border collie in it when in the car. It stops him wrecking my car and the cage has proven strong enough to keep him in. It also gives him a comfort zone when a blanket is placed over the top.It folds down flat very easily if I need the space in the car and is really easy to put back up again.Fantastic product especially with the tray and mattress.

Put washers under screw heads and tighten up
This is a great cage (this is the second one I have bought). Only issue I have is the screws are not correctly tightened for use in a vehicle. The screws come loose. My solution is to put washers under the heads of the screws fixing the clips for the ends of the cage and tighten all of the screws. (It’s not possible or necessary to put washers under the heads of the screws fixing the door latches, but the screws still need tightening to the correct torque)

Great as always
This is my second purchase of a rosewood dog crate and I will never buy from anyone else. The locks are safe and no way of my dog getting out. Didn't like the look of other dog crates as their locks seem flimsy and a dog could wiggle it out but the Rosewood locks are clip in so not way of escaping!! Bought one for my parents house for when we go and stay and now bought a new one for my dog for in the living room. Went with medium as he is a cocker spaniel and perfect size for him to sleep. I can sleep peacefully knowing he is safe in his crate and not up to something mischievous!! Thanks for a great crate, will recommend to friends and family.

Cheap product, expensive price
Plastic clips are weak, they come off and break easily. The cage is flimsy and rusts fast. Much better and cheaper options out there.

Perfect...
Our small dog was driven over by a car a few weeks ago and due to his serious injuries he was condemned to 8 weeks cage rest. In order to keep his medium-sized buddy under control we bought two of these cages as he tends to be a bit destructive due to his young age and we did not want to risk him accidentally hurting the small one by keeping them in one cage. Now, they love their new homes. Eventually, we had to put their feeding and water bowls into the cages as well as permanently placing their baskets in the cages as both of our dogs really love them and went in there whenever we wanted to feed them :). We leave the doors open as long as we are at home and they go into theirs whenever they want to get some rest and peace - and there is no doubt about the ownership of the cages. :)More important, these cages are easy to keep clean and also when we need some more space you can just put them together and they fit into our storage cupboard.
