Pleased as deep enough for our mattress. Lovely quality if a touch expensive

I bought two sets of these sheets in 2018, I like everything about this product, lovely soft feel, good deep fit, good colour choice and washes well. The only problem is they both tore in the same place after three years and I would have expected a little more life out of them. Despite this, I have ordered two replacements.

Very silky feel and warm colour, very pleasant softness and thick enough,Not so pleased with its seize, particularly after the first wash at 40C it shrank a bit and now it is not easy to put on the double mattress 28cm ... so often this is the complaint that one wonder why not use 1cm more material ....

I know I can rely on Homescapes linen for great quality and fit at decent prices. I love my new high thread count Egyptian cotton fitted sheet. It feels soft and so welcoming as I drift off to sleep.

The colour was true to the picture. A vibrant olive green.

This arrived folded and tied with a cotton ribbon, all inside a pillowcase like cotton case.Point (1) The postcard size card (picture to be uploaded later) said 60 C wash, just like this item description by seller: "Very Healthy Bedding: Anti Dust Mite fabric which is machine washable at 60 Deg C temperature which kills mites and allergens. Can be easily washed in your domestic washing machine." However, the care label on the sheet itself says 40C!I recently purchased another double fitted bed sheet (although not 400TC, it is Sainsbury's brushed cotton) at 70% off the price, and that feels excactly like this item (but I paid under £6 for that!)This is in the 40C wash as I type, and I will see what happens at 60C next wash.Point (2) Also description on the card says "Homescapes organic cotton is farmed in India." Not "Egyptian cotton" as described.. Unless I am missing something?Edit: I have added one more star, as it has survived enough washes at both 40C and 60C.I withdraw point (2) - as pointed out by Victoria Carson, I am wrong on the naming.

I was very pleased that it fitted generously over my deep mattress at last I found sheets that fit properly I be buying again in different colours !!!!
