Q: Is there a 1/4 inch blade available?

If you’re asking is there a blade capable of cutting shoestring fries for this cutter the answer is NO. At least not on AMAZON and not to my knowledge. I looked and failed to find one. As good as the cutter is you would think a 1/4 blade would be mandatory, but they realized WE, the customer would want THAT and decided… let’s not give A 1/4 BLADE TO THEM!!!!

Q: Is it easy to cut fingers?

No it is not easy to cut fingers unless you have more than two hands or take one of your hands, deliberately put it in the slider and slam the level as hard as you can. Removing and cleaning the blade it is where you do need to be careful, but AGAIN you have to REALLY be handling this cutter in a beyond careless way to cut your fingers.

Q: How many blades come with this? I only received one large blade.

I received two blades one a bigger cut then the other one. One blade was already on and the other came in the package with all of the parts

Q: What is the difference between this product and the cheaper ones on Amazon?

Dear customer, I have always agreed with the saying "you will pay what you get for". Except for the push plate, the whole body of our French fries machine is made of very thick 304 stainless steel and alloy. That ensure that our machines can be used for a long time and are not easy to break. Different from cheap products made of plastic and easily broken.
