Great for patching old style USB to new; challenge is always heat (USB-A runs warmer due to lower-power delivery; this also can degrade phone batteries faster). Cables are thick and made well; they've been durable so far as I've seen; and work well in hotel rooms with USB-A in the wall jacks.

This is the only company I will buy from. The braided cables withstand constant use. The cord wrap is included with each cable, making it easy to keep them neat and organized when not in use. They don't kink up like other cables without a braided cover. I've had cables from other companies that the plastic cover separated from the hardware end, exposing the wires underneath. Not Anker cables. Ten feet is a generous length, especially in places where an electrical outlet is far from where I'm located. My puppy decided to chew one of the cords. He shredded the braided outer cover, and there was no damage to the cable inside. Years ago I had a micro USB charging cord that was damaged. Anker asked me to send them a picture of the micro USB end that showed the problem. They said to toss it and a replacement was sent out that same day.
