I love the solar powered spinners.The spinning just enhances the beauty of the spinner.It’s great to see my spinners in motion, even on a calm day

These have to be in direct sunlight. So the angle of the sun will only operate them for a3 hour then it losses direct sun. Will not work in a shaded are or in an are with indirect light. Not worth the purchase

Spins too strong so the wind chimes swing out and don't make noise. Kind of makes me dizzy watching it.

Just got these today and made to test each one out to make sure they all worked. They did. I hung one up and it worked pretty well. I noticed depending on what you hang on it, it may make the solar panel slightly out of wack to where the sun is. There isn't a lot of adjustment on the panel. Maybe an inch back and forth/up and down.I tested them out mid afternoon and by late afternoon the one had stopped spinning due to the location of the sun. PLENTY of sun out but not in direct sunlight. Unit was hanging off a curtain rack on the inside of a basement window. I plan on using these out doors with ball bearing swivels to prevent any of my spinners from getting twisted up or having any reverse strain on the motor.PLEASE take this into consideration!!! Using a swivel will allow what ever is attached to the motor to spin freely. The wind may want to blow your item the opposite direction the motor is spinning which could cause a failure in the solar spinner.EDIT: As of today, 5/12/2025. all four of my solar spinners are still 100 percent fully functional. I never moved them outside and still have them hanging from my curtain rod like shown in the photo. As of today, on a sunny day in Illinois, they start to spin around 3pm and will continue to do so till around 6 or 7. They are NOT pointed in a direct line with the sun like they should be but hey, they still work!! The window they are hanging in actually faces in a Western direction with tons of trees behind my property in my neighbors back yard.

The Sun comes out spends all day reflecting nice to have and you don't have to keep changing the battery on one day when it get wet the inside start rusting out

Work nicely sometimes if they ever do stop working dismantling is easy and small debris can be cleaned out and sprayed with maybe W-D and then they are back to being as good as new

Never worked since the day they came out of the box. Going back.

None of them work, even after being in the sun all day. No rotation at all.
