Ideal for DVRs, NAS, 3D printers, and more with 4-pin PWM control. Review: Super quiet fan - You get what you pay for wih these fans. Super quiet and with good air flow. Recommended if you can justify the cost Review: The Silent Spinner of Dreams - Right, so I bought this Noctua fan because the missus kept complaining that my old PC fan sounded like a small lawnmower revving in the corner of the living room. Apparently, it was drowning out her telly programs. 'Get a quieter one,' she says, 'or the fan's not the only thing that's getting replaced!' Enter the Noctua NF-A6x25 PWM. It’s marketed as a 'premium quiet fan,' and I thought, 'Well, it can't be any louder than her complaining!' And I'll tell you what – this thing is a revelation. It’s so quiet, I keep checking it’s actually spinning. Honestly, you could have it on during an ASMR video and still hear every whispered 'crinkle crinkle.' It’s a doddle to install, too. Even with my sausage fingers, I had it up and running in minutes. Comes with all the bits – screws, extensions, even little rubbery doodahs to stop vibration (though my PC now vibrates less than my phone). Performance? Top-notch. Keeps the PC cooler than a penguin in a fridge, and not a peep out of it. Looks? Well, let’s be honest, it’s brown and beige – not exactly winning any beauty contests. But then, I don’t buy a fan for its looks, do I? If I wanted style over substance, I’d be shopping for designer curtains, not computer parts. In conclusion, if you want a fan so quiet it makes your old one sound like a jet engine and keeps your PC running smoother than a freshly buttered crumpet, this is the one. Just don’t tell the missus how much it cost, or you’ll be hearing noise of a different kind! 10/10 – would recommend, even if it’s beige. ## Features - Premium quiet fan, 60x60x25 mm, 12V, 4-pin PWM, max. 3000 RPM, max. 19.3 dB(A), >150,000 h MTTF - Award-winning 60x25mm A-series fan with Flow Acceleration Channels and Advanced Acoustic Optimisation frame for superior quiet cooling performance - Ideal replacement for noisy or broken 12V 6cm fans in DVRs, NAS, network and storage devices, 3D printers, etc. - 4-pin PWM version for automatic speed control via 4-pin PWM fan headers, broad 550-3000rpm speed range (2300rpm max. with supplied Low-Noise Adaptor) - Includes anti-vibration mounts, fan screws, Low-Noise Adaptor, extension cable and y-cable for running two PWM fans on the same header ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00VXTANZ4 | | Air Flow Capacity | 29.2 Cubic Metres Per Hour | | Best Sellers Rank | 9,702 in Business, Industry & Science ( See Top 100 in Business, Industry & Science ) 26 in Electronic Cooling Fans | | Brand | Noctua | | Compatible Devices | Desktop | | Compatible devices | Desktop | | Cooling Method | Air | | Cooling method | Air | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 2,685 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00842431012524, 04716123315636 | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 6L x 6W x 2.5H centimetres | | Item Highlight | High Airflow, Low Noise, 25mm Thick Fan, for PC and Electronics Cooling, Rich Accessory Kit, 3000rpm 4-Pin PWM | | Item Weight | 41 Grams | | Manufacturer | Noctua | | Manufacturer Part Number | NF-A6x25 PWM | | Material | Fibre-glass reinforced PBT | | Max Rotational Speed | 3000 RPM | | Model Number | NF-A6x25 PWM | | Noise Level | 19.3 Decibels | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Power Connector Type | 4-Pin | | Power connector type | 4-Pin | | Product Warranty | 6 year manufacturer’s warranty | | Product dimensions | 6L x 6W x 2.5H centimetres | | UPC | 842431012524 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Voltage | 12 Volts | ## Product Details - **Air flow capacity:** 29.2 Cubic Metres Per Hour - **Brand:** Noctua - **Compatible devices:** Desktop - **Cooling method:** Air - **Material:** Fibre-glass reinforced PBT - **Maximum rotational speed:** 3000 RPM - **Noise level:** 19.3 Decibels - **Power connector type:** 4-Pin - **Product dimensions:** 6L x 6W x 2.5H centimetres - **Voltage:** 12 Volts ## Images ![NF-A6x25 PWM, High-Performance Quiet Fan 60mm - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71x64G4hl0L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: are these quiet on fully speed ?** A: it's all relative.. at full speed I can hear mine a little bit inside a Define Fractal R5 case. Complete size is 60*60*25mm. Distance between holes is 50mm.
