My Dyson v10 recently broke, and when I emptied the container I saw a couple of plastic rings sliding around inside. Upon investigation I found that they were the seal around the back of the container, and I needed a replacement. This is the perfect fit, and even comes with a screwdriver. An absolute doddle to fit - undo one screw, pull the old ring out, put the new one in, pop the screw back in to secure it and you're done in about thirty seconds.

This part replaced the broken sealing ring on my Dyson SV10. The diagram on the Amazon website show how to fit the new part. My cleaner does not have the trigger guard, so that piece was surplus to requirements.

It arrived next day and fitted like a glove. Job done.

Had to apply more than normal pressure on the red release lever to open the bin. The entire bin suddenly flew off breaking through the second red button which enables the removal of the bin from the hoover.All this after having installed the new part. They say one saves money by spending it wisely. I should've bought the whole bin part from Dyson and no doubt it would all be just fine.

This thing saved me tons compared to what Dyson said was needed for the fix. Perfect fit, perfect function.

Looks and fits like the original. My V10 is starting to show signs of wear and year, but pieces like this have made sure it keeps going. The retaining ring cracked allowing the rubber gasket to fall out. This is a complete replacement of retaining ring and gasket. Simply remove one screw (star screw driver included in pack), and replace retainer and gasket. It was that easy, part looks and fits like the original.
