Great mouse, out of the ones I tried. Wish the pinky-area had more contours though.
I recently purchased over 10 vertical mouses. This one is probably ONE of the best. Only complaint I have though is that the place where your pinky rests is very smooth and is sloped inwards from the bottom. If you reversed the contour so that it made a little "cliff" or overhang which was just high enough for your pinky finger to rest underneath, you could have one corner of your finger resting on the mousepad and the other corner hooked under the mouse which would make for quick movements. Lifting and moving the mouse is a common gesture while using a mouse... and if you have to pick up something which is shaped like a pyramid, it's much harder than if you pick up something which is shaped like a... small flowerpot or something. You get what I'm saying, many great mice on the market slope outwards instead of inwards where the pinky rests. If you try to pick up the mouse without gripping too hard, the mouse slips out of your grasp. It's a bad feature. You need a sloped overhang, and a corner to get underneath with that little finger. VERY close to being a perfect mouse though. With that design flaw, I would have to give it no higher than 7/10. With a little pinky-grip, you're looking at 11/10 easy. ***ONE MORE THING*** I purchased this after reading a bad review which complained that the FWD/BACK buttons were placed too far back and that it was hard for him to reach the BACK button. I would have to say that the man is wrong. I came into this thing skeptical, but the man is simply holding the mouse improperly, or hasn't gotten used to the mouse yet. The mouse is adjustable on the thumb-rest and the tilt, so with those combinations, he should find one which feels more comfortable. I will admit that the BACK button is SMALLER than the FWD button, which is honestly backwards... they need to fix that ASAP and figure out whoever thought the FWD should be larger... so they can fire him. Any google search can show you that the FWD button is used 1/40th of the amount as the BACK button. But yea, their placement was ultimately fine, relative to where they are positioned on the mouse. They really need to add some contour to the pinky rest though, otherwise this mouse is unusable for me. I keep going to move it and my pinky slips off, then I have to grab it again and actually squeeze it with some force to pick it up without slipping. That's the type of thing which causes Carpel's-tunnels. Thumbs-up for bringing back the "Middle-Button" pan clicker!

A Gamer's Perspective - Almost Brilliant!!
Let me start by saying that this is my favorite mouse I've ever used and I plan on buying back ups. Now with that out of the way let me tell you about the struggles with this mouse. The 1st time I used it I had major trouble trying to grip and lift the mouse off the pad to reposition the cursor on the screen. The first time I did it the mouse slipped right out of my hand! Very awkward grip! This is major for gaming as the mouse is constantly lifted off the mouse pad and repositioned. I found that there was only a small strip on the side for my pinky to grip the mouse and on the other side was my thumb in the adjustable cradle. I tried using the mouse this way for weeks and had alot of pain in my thumb and pinky due to squeezing the mouse very hard when lifting it off the pad repeatedly. If I didn't squeeze hard the mouse would slip out of my hand. With a normal mouse your ring finger would help with the lifting but with this mouse your ring finger is used to press mouse2 so I found that it put alot of strain on my pinky overtime and eventually the ball of my thumb began burning from the repetitive excessive squeezing. And yes, I repositioned that thumb cradle in every possible position with no improvement. Another downside is the positioning of the mouse4 and mouse5 side buttons for your thumb. The adjustable thumb cradle is positioned so far away from these buttons it makes them almost unusable. You CAN adjust the thumb cradle to sit directly next to the side buttons but the angle provides no good grip and when you attempt to press the side buttons you completely lose control of the mouse as your thumb is no longer holding the mouse. Because of this I gave up on using the side buttons for the 1st couple weeks. I almost gave up on this mouse entirely but eventually I came up with a simple solution. I added a small pinky sleeve(picture) on the side of the mouse made of brute force tape and painters tape. This completely relieves my pinky and thumb from having to squeeze the mouse when lifting. I can now effortlessly lift the mouse up and have no pain now. Also I eventually discovered that if I position my thumb in between the adjustable thumb cradle and the body of the mouse(as shown in the picture) I can now easily press the side mouse button. Mouse5 button is still way too far backward and I have to crunch my thumb up in an awkward position in order to press it(shown in picture). In conclusion, this mouse is almost brilliant. The 70 degree maximum tilt is very comfortable. I feel no strain in my arm and wrist when using this mouse. I wouldn't go back to a normal mouse after using this one. 3 mouse buttons instead of only 2 is AMAZING! I'm spoiled now and cant go back. It has a great sensor and doesn't skip no matter how fast I move the mouse. (I had to stop using the perixx perimice 513L mouse for that reason) I got the corded version so I don't know about the battery life. The quality is good. It feels sturdy and well built. Doesn't feel cheap Now I wish this company would modify this bad boy with some kind of pinky sleeve or better gripping feature. The side mouse buttons and the thumb cradle need to be totally redesigned in my opinion. Great idea but bad execution(burns the ball of my thumb from squeezing and terribly awkward using the side mouse buttons!!) Okay, now I'm gonna purchase one or two more of these bad boys for back ups....lol I hope this helps somebody out there!

Best vert mouse on the market. Silly putty under the thumb rest keeps it locked in place + adds weight
Very cool mouse. I game on a recliner and use the mouse on the chair's arm. Using a mmorpg numpad mouse with my arms up on the chair arm was beginning to take its toll on my wrist/forearm/elbow. The other vertical mice are either cheaply made, or overpriced and good while they last, but then they're known to break due to manufacturer's flaws. Nothing really gaming grade has come along, until the Unimouse. I have a few problems with it, but so far it is pretty impressive. The movable thumb pad could be a little more stiff, sometimes in heavy gaming sessions I'll squeeze my mouse too tightly and move it by accident. The 2 buttons could be more pronounced so as to be easier to push, right now I have to practically dislocate my thumb to hit the back one. So I find myself not really using these 2 buttons. (Might be a good thing because I've pretty much destroyed my thumb using Razer Nagas and Logi g600 MMO mice) I'm back to hitting number keys on my left hand like a normie. FeelsBadMan, but this mouse is making the transition back a lot less painful. :EDIT: I put a blob of silly putty in underneath the thumb pad arm. This both added weight to the mouse, and keeps the arm from moving easily if the mouse is suddenly gripped too hard.

Great mouse, best of the vertical mice
I got this mouse for several reasons: - It was a good vertical mouse. - It was slightly cheaper than the Evoluent mouse (maybe not anymore) - Its angle was adjustible. - It has 3 buttons already configured, like the Evoluent mice but unlike most of the other vertical mice which only have a left and a right button. I use the middle button a lot on linux. I've been using these mice for years, for both the left and right hand. I still think these are the best. I use them in a wired configuration, but I guess you can use them wireless. For wireless work, instead of plugging in a USB B wire into the mouse, you plug a wireless dongle into your USB-A port on your computer. I guess wireless works but I haven't tried it.

Deserves less than 0 stars
I have happily used other Contour mouses (CMO-GM models) for almost 18 years. This one is a total disappointment and horrible design. Here is why it does not deserve any stars: (a) It is one-size fits all, which goes against ergonomics; it is designed for **small** hands. (b) To use the wheel only fingers rest on the mouse and half of your palm will be in up the air, causing exhaustion. (c) You need extra force to use the wheel as the middle/3rd bottom click, which will cause problem in the long-run. (d) If you need to lift your mouse so you can move the cursor to another part of the screen, good luck doing it with this one. There is no grip on the mouse to be able to lift and reposition it. I returned it. The old model is sold-out on other websites. Their customer support doe not reply back to my message. :-(

Good mouse marred by a few problems.
The mouse works as advertised. There are no issues there. I bought it primarily because it has three buttons across the top, not the usual two and a scroll wheel that functions as a 3rd button. This is an important feature for me. However, the mouse is entirely overbuilt. For a mouse built around ergonomics, the unit is very heavy. Whatever gains you might make from the design, you'll lose to having to heft it around the mousepad. It is quite possibly the heaviest mouse I have ever used. And it's not just that. The mouse itself is huge. There is no real way to hold it other than putting your palm down, which means moving your entire hand, which again, becomes painful because the mouse is very weighty. Another consideration is that the back/forward buttons are very awkward to use. Lastly, I could possibly live with all of that, but the hinge does not go flat, so you are always at a minimum of a 35 degree angle at the wrist. For my needs, I need it lower than that. I realize that might negate some of the ergonomic design, but with the mouse as huge as it is, it's uncomfortable to use at that high an angle. You may not have issues and I realize that I'm sort of an edge case for this design, but if nothing else, consider the weight and size before ordering.

Good concept but definitely needs to be worked on
First, the thumb rest is awkwardly placed. It doesn't go back far enough and is far too high to make the side buttons useful. This leaves you with only using the 3 keys on top, which would be ok, if the driver wasn't garbage. Previously, the driver/program would constantly forget your key assignments if it wasn't standard right-click, left-click, etc. If you program it to anything else like Pg Dn, it forgets it so you constantly have to reset it, especially after computer sleeps. Then you have to reboot for it to take effect which is incredibly annyoying when you're in the midst of work. The latest driver is completely useless and crashes the computer. The settings stick with the new one but the whole driver just crashes multiple times a day lol. I previously had a mouse driver from another company that was great, never had issues but it can't read the 3rd top button on the Unimouse so I can't use it. Super frustrating to have wasted money on this. If you only need the right and left click with no other button configurations and you have very large hands, this may work well for you.

amazing mouse, painful buttons
First of all, i ordered wired, but received wireless and i must say, after using top wireless mice from logitech and razer, Unimouse wireless technology is amazing! No glitches, no power saving modes - it works just like a wired mouse, but without a wire. The mouse itself is highly adjustable and therefore very comfortable. The only problem is with buttons and that's what made me return it. The scroll button is too firm. You have to press it so hard that the mouse moves. But where this product really fails is the side buttons - unless you've lost half of your thumb, you better forget those buttons exist. I have a relatively small palm and while this mouse fits my hand perfectly, i just can't imagine what were they thinking putting side buttons in that place. it's just painful. Now for the driver - it works perfectly on Win10 x64, but you will have to reboot your machine in order to update the settings. i suppose they will fix this small issue so it's not really a problem. I will definitely watch this company and try their next mouse with hope that they will fix the issues with their buttons.
