Glitter for Grout Silver Additive Tile Grouting Bathroom Sparkly Hemway 100g / 3.5oz

This product is really great, gives a lovely glitter finish. We mixed the whole 100g bag in a 5 kilo tub of ready made grout and the result is shown in the picture. I think maybe 100g per kilo might be a bit much, but it depends on how much sparkle you're after. I would suggest adding glitter in small amounts so you can get the right ratio/effect. You can always add more, but you can't take it out!

Only used one packet for kitchen, with black grout,used half of directed amount but was plenty, no clumps and catches light enough to give a good visual effect

Worked really well! Very sparkly walls now! It does go everywhere tho! The tiler was covered in glitter, as was the rest of the house! Make sure it's mixed well with grout, as other wise places will be less glittery then others

Added sparkle to grey grouting between white floor tiles, it looks beautiful!

Great product it looks really effective. We mixed it with black grout for black stone floor tiles. It looks great when the light hits the floor. Will definitely be using it again in the future.

I used this product in the grout for the bathroom and what a job it did. It makes the bathroom tiles stand out with the sparkle of the glitter in between the tiles now.

The driver knocked the door about a few seconds after that left the item in front of the door and left immediately. He could put it in the bin atleast .

The media could not be loaded. I used one pack of silver glitter grout additive with 9 lb ready to use Bostik Dimension grout in Hematite color. This is a translucent glass filled urethane grout, which is why my lines are so sparkly. The grout is translucent and metallic and has some shimmer of its own so when you add the glitter additive it puts it over the top. You can see the glitter flakes below the surface of the grout also, looks like gitter glue. This was an extremely difficult tile grouting project, because the grout is rapid set and is difficult to remove from tiles after two minutes. The glitter further complicates the job because it sticks all over the tile and grout and takes repetitive wipe downs and scrubbing to remove. Next day I'm still scraping off wayward glitter from my tiles with my fingernail. I grouted 35 sq ft kitchen backsplash and it was back breaking, took 2 full days. Massive buckets of water dumps and refills to keep the tiles clean through the project. I am experienced at tile installs and would consider this product combination about as difficult as grout can be, barring using two part expoxy grout which I would highly recommend against using with the glitter as there would not be enough working time to get the glitter off the tile faces. Overall I love the glitter grout in my kitchen, it will be quite the conversation starter. But do not attempt in a hurry or as a novice, or without chemical grout remover on hand.
