So disappointed. The ice ball is nearly impossible to get out-much harder than the one I was replacing with this one. It’s often uneven. Tonight I had to melt out to get it in the glass!!! Don’t buy this.

Once you make the ice, it looks quite decent. It lasts for a while as it's quite large. But how you prepare it is quite cumbersome and how you have to put it upright to freeze it is also inconvenient. The chamber is larger than the eventual iceball so you fill the water 1/2 to 2/3 of the way and put the 2 split lids on. As you push in the lids, water overflows. If it didn't, you didn't put enough water. There's quite a bit of pressure to deal with when you put the lids on. There's a tiny hole when viewed from up top and that leaks water if you put the container side ways in the freezer so only upright position when you freeze it. You won't notice much water coming out from the hole if you put the container on the side right away but do not put it that way. I made a big mess when I tried it for the first time. I eventually returned it.

Pretty clever design, the expansion of the freezing water in the lower chamber pushes the ice ball up and out. Be sure to empty it entirely and refill for the next ice ball so you get that expansion, otherwise it can be hard to remove the ball
