Canis Latran Tactical 3-Hole Skeleton NVG Mount Shroud for ACH/MICH/OPS-Core Fast/Crye AirFrame Helmet

It works and feels very solid. It is basically an exact copy of the "Wilcox L4 Three Hole Shroud" At a much cheaper price point. To this shroud I mounted a "LIVIQILY Tactical Metal Alloy L4G24" which is basically a counterfeit Wilcox G24 right down to the Wilcox name and all the markings. (but at least it isn't listed as a Wilcox) The reason for the four stars is because the mount was fairly loose in the shroud. The problem here is both the shroud and the mount are knock-offs and I have no idea which one is responsible I wouldn't be surprised if it were a little of both. There is a round piece that has the letters "PPT" that mates with a small rubber piece on the G24 mount which gives this combination stability. Either the rubber piece on the mount was to small (thin) or the round indentation in the shroud (that has the letters "PPT") was to deep. I cut a circle from a thin black plastic business card and glued it inside of the PPT indentation. Now there is no slop/play what so ever and my two knock-offs fit together perfectly. This is what it is, a knock-off. It is as close to perfect as I would expect it to be.

Just got this, pretty disappointed. It says it is made of aluminum but the unit I received is made of plastic. I did not mount it on my helmet because I'm not sure if it can handle the weight of my NVGs.

For the price, get the metal ones. Better built and more rigid

This mount holds your equipment properly and it will not come off until you want it too by pushing the release button!
