I came this close (holding fingers extremely close together) to returning these, thinking I had ordered the wrong thing and would never use them. And hey . . . they're really proud of them, based on the price. They sat for weeks on my bench until one day when I was working with 22 gauge sterling silver sheet scraps that were too small to cut with the jewelry saw. These cutters sliced through the sheet like it was butter. So then of course I had to experiment with some heavy gauge copper wire. Easy peasy, lemon squeezey! The "pinch" is much less pronounced than I had imagined, which meant a minimal amount of finishing. I didn't want to love these cutters, but they won me over!

Too big and bulky. I have other Lindstrom cutters and was hoping these would be as awesome. They were not as good as my smaller ones and were much more expensive that a similar cutter that actually works better. I am sorry a purchased them.

One of the better quality tools I've purchased for making jewelry and casting. They are comfortable, strong and provide adequate mechanical advantage to cut thicker material.
