I have tried so many shampoo bars, and finally found one that hits all the boxes. It doesn't require vigorous rubbing to suds up, it doesn't have that funky smell that so many natural soaps have, and It doesn't get washed away super quickly. It suds up super quickly and has just a clean scent, not perfumy, fruity, or flowery. If my hair is especially dirty or sweaty it sometimes takes two washings, but even so it has lasted for months.Highly recommended!

This shampoo bar lathers really well and is great for my wife's sensitive scalp and works great for both of us, so I would recommend it for men and women. The scent is light and pleasant, not overpowering. It being a bar makes it easy to travel with, no worries about spilling or making sure it is under a certain amount of liquid. The price is great and the shipping was quick. No complaints so far and would definitely (and will) order again!

I've never used shampoo bars before, but I'm impressed! All I had to do was wet the bar, run it across my wet head once and I got instant, great lather. I have short hair so it was more than I needed--a generous amount. The scent is light and not too "perfumey". It rinsed out easily. Hair felt great afterward, and the best part is there's no plastic bottle to throw in the trash! Highly recommend!

I have fair skin & have long, very fine, fairly straight, non-color treated hair which tangles easily. I've been using a (different brand of rice) bar shampoo and conditioner set for the past 6 months or so. I saw their advertisements online and thought it sounded like an environmentally good change I could make without a large increase in expense. Sadly, it seems to take twice as long to wash and condition my hair with those bars as it does with liquid shampoo/conditioner. They don't lather very well so it takes longer to get enough product in my hair to do the job. The conditioner was a square brick and the shampoo was a circular patty and they were both very hard for me to hold on to once they were about half used (carpal tunnel) so I bought little mesh bags to try to help them lather more quickly and provide me a way to keep hold of them. This worked but the mesh bags are a little rough and I wasn't sure I should be rubbing them on my hair so I rub the bag in my hands to create lather and then put the lather on my head. I introduced my partner to the bar shampoo and he likes it. He has much shorter hair and doesn't use a conditioner very often.Product review: (I included my hair type in the first sentence so you can determine if your experience would be similar to mine.) I purchased this new brand because it said it was a shampoo + conditioner and I thought that it would save time in the shower over the 2-bar system... with or without a mesh bag. LOL! I've used it a few times now. It lathers quickly and easily so it takes much less time than the other brand. It rinses quickly and feels as though my hair is really clean. I feel as though I'm using less product since it lathers so nice & quick but I haven't had it long enough to determine whether or not it will last as long as the other brand (seemingly "harder") bars.It came in a nice little cardboard box, the bar wrapped in paper, like a fancy hand soap. It is a nice round shape, almost like a canned biscuit before it's baked and seems to be hand crafted instead of machine pressed, if that makes sense, and at least in full size, it is easier to hold on to.On the down side: For me, the conditioning properties are not adequate. I've been using the other brand conditioner bar because I have a sensitive scalp and don't like to struggle pulling the detangler brush thru my hair. My partner (fair with medium textured, non-color treated straight hair) with his 3" hair length likes it better than the other brand shampoo and the conditioning level for him works. Results will probably vary greatly between those with various hair conditions.There is almost no scent. I personally like to smell the scent of my shampoo in my hair as long as possible after I wash it, so the lack of scent bothers me. However because I have to use a conditioner, I can choose any scented conditioner without having scents compete with each other!

I often saw ads for rice shampoo bars and wondered if they worked. So I took a chance and bought one. I look for ways to be more sustainable with my manner of living and this bar provided me with not only that but is provided me with softer, shinier, and healthier hair. It's not like conventional soap as it is longer lasting. I soap from top to the ends and put some underneath near the nape of my scalp. It provides luxurious bubles and cleans me hair beautifully. No tangles after it dries. Reasonable priced and so good for your acalp and hair. I will never buy conventional shampoo again!

This is labeled shampoo bar, but it's actually been quite nice for whole-body washing, too. We love how this product feels gentle and nourishing, but also feels like it's getting the job done, effectively removing all the day's dirt, grime, and grease. It supports the rewarding feeling of a spa treatment while delivering consistent functionality, cleaning with natural ingredients...and reducing plastic. Plus, this product has also proven gentle enough for our kids, and still tough enough to get those busy little bodies squeaky clean.Our hair feels luxurious afterward, without the feeling of any residues. We highly recommend this honest product and company.

I have tried a few different shampoo bars in my quest to lessen the amount of plastic I use and this one is the best I have used! It lathers beautifully, cleans thoroughly without over-stripping, and leaves my hair and scalp feeling clean and soft. I recommend and encourage anyone who is on a similar quest to try this shampoo bar. The smell is also lovely and I don't think you will be disappointed.

I can’t believe how well this works on my hair! The first time used this I thought it stripped my hair, but it didn’t! After shampooing with this bar, I used a drop of olaplex number 6 and my hair was clean, soft, shiny and healthy! I have natural strawberry blonde (blue/green eyes), fine and wavy hair. We have very hard water and I’m over 60 years. Also my sensitive scalp feels fantastic. I’ve used this product 5 times and I do highly recommend!
