Small footprint with big soundstage
These are bipolar with drivers both front and rear facing. There is a toggle switch at the bottom just above the speaker terminals which is either -6Db or zero. This determines the strength of the reflected rear sound. I have them at -6 which makes the soundstage more directional with better clarity. This was a huge step up from my old Def Tech towers and clarity improved immediately. You still need a separate subwoofer for movies but could get by without for music. Small footprint with a huge soundstage which is perfect for a living room system. Very pleased with my purchase.
